Heh, what I'm wondering...is how many sponsors paid, but now it's not reflecting in your balance. I know of a few sponsors that are a tad late in paying me, wonder if it's related..scary thought. Imagine this: sponsor sends you a payment, in their records you're said to be paid, yet when you log in, your epassporte balance doesn't show any history of a transaction..paranoia, or probability?

Hmm, never considered this before: if you have a merchant billing your virtual Visa automatically (eg a recurring monthly fee for hosting), will epass being down cause a decline?

Nope...you are correct in your fears. My epass was frozen becasue I had too much money in it.

During that time 7 sponsors tried to pay me. 4 sent me emails telling me there was a problem and 3 didn't even bother and made me hunt them down.

It was a huge pain in the ass.

I just tried again and I ws able to login at the first attempt, so this is not affecting all epassporte users.

Yesterday I was having trouble with epassporte with the error message "It looks like our site is currently having a problem with this page. Please go back and try again in a few minutes when we have it fixed."

But I never got the "invalid username/password " error.

I am sure they will fix it soon.

One of the cool things about the World Wide Web is that content can be updated.
Tell the management people it's a good idea to post a notice when things are broken.
