Wait let me get this, you rsync accounts to your other shared servers if load gets too high on one? I think you are either very new or another idiot spitting out tech terms thinking no one here has a clue. Personally I think you're an idiot.

What Nick is trying to say is that each of our main servers has their own unique secondary backup server that runs Rsync commands every few minutes. In the rare case of a failure or over-load of a main server the secondary backup server will utilize Heartbeat Linux to idenitfy the problem and take over the main server's functions. This allows for our network to be nearly fail-proof.

I'm still trying to figure out how a company who *claims* they have all that networking gear (which we all really know they don't) doesn't have an AS. Have you every even logged into a Juniper or 6509 before?

All I'm saying is this - you cannot base a company founded on lies. Embellish the truth a bit, if you will, but please don't pretend to have what you don't in hopes of gaining customers. Remember you can fool some of the pople some of the time, but not all of the people all the time.

Why? What do you have to fear? Its equinix. Biometric hand scanners, cameras everywhere, guards at the front, man traps etc etc. What could anyone possibly do to your *cough* gear? I mean if its really in a cage as you say, no one will be able to even get close to your rack right?

We do have BGP - PTP just handles it. We run our own hardware, we have our own server techs - we're our own datacenter within one of the PTP owned cages. I'd be more than happy to have Brian, the owner of PTP verify that we own and operate our own stuff - he lives right down the street from Jim.

I was asked not to disclose the cage number. If you weren't using a fake nick than maybe you could ICQ me and i'd give the cage number to you and you could come take a look at it yourself.

You're accusing us of reselling PTP's bandwith - we're not. We run our own hardware and manage it ourselves with tech staff on our payroll. We happen to be within a PTP cage and using thier BGP - that's where it ends.

No disrespect meant but it's not possible that you are a new company with your own cage in Equinix and your own 6509s and Junipers pushing 4 gigabit of traffic. Just get your facts right and sell it straight - if the service and performance is good then you will find much business here. I for one am tired of 'hosting companies' pretending to be what they aren't. I mean to start with your website states "Tear2Hosting.com has added a new 10 GigE cross connect from Nlayer." which is very suspicious because PTP also lists a 10GE to Nlayer. So, did Tear2Hosting add a 10GE to Nlayer or did PTP Tech?

Brad, we own our 6509's and Junipers, you're correct in stating that we don't have our own cage - because we're housed within a PTP cage through a deal with them, however we run and manage all of our own hardware.

We're in the same cage, we have access to it. If you want to get nitpicky about our exact setup within the cage you can go visit Jim on monday morning - ICQ me for the cage number. However, you're just trying to cause shit on a fake nick and you'll never ICQ me or actually show up at our cage to check our setup out.

Enough already ok? Stop while you're ahead. You're continued lies tell business folks you aren't trustworthy enough to do business with. Just chalk this up to another lesson in life learned the hard way and move on.
