as much as I don't care for the support ticket time, I personally think the new rollout of www.2checkout.com has been great...the backend is excellent and I had my store up and rolling in like 30 minutes ready to process

We were pleased with NetBilling, hope to use them again in the future.
I would like to know your problem with authorize.net. Feel free to hit me on ICQ if you don't want to discuss it on the board. |

Authorize.net is ok and would actually recommend them. I also use Linkpoint Central and they are pretty good. The only problem I have been experiencing with Authorize.net is that they do a lot of "Surprise maintenence" without giving you a heads up and their AVS system is pretty wishy washy.
What merchant services are you going to use? What every you do, DO NOT USE Card Services International! They are fucking crooks and their customer service managers talk to you like you're a retarded kid. I've never used NetBilling but I honestly can't see how one gateway would be dramatically different than another. |

2checkout is highly recommended if you need something in the meantime while you go through the merchant account setup process again.
Who did you use for the books?

2checkout.com is cool for mainstream stuff and I dont think anyone needs to worry about them going the way of paysystems. They are pretty financially stable from what I understand.

I don't think many people use 2checkout for recurring transactions.
On another note, I wonder why Epoch and CCBill don't offer lower rate mainstream processing. I'm sure the amount of good transactions would only help their relations with Visa and MC.

I can recommend Netbilling wholeheartedly. Have had a LOT of clients using them for years. For storefront transactions they work very well.

I use authorize.net, they are ok. I hate the fact that their automatic billing API
keeps getting delayed, its killing me. I want to move the account but it will be tooo much work to move

Netbilling comes highly recomended.
Other than CCBill, Paycom, and Netbilling, who else is there?

definitely go with netbilling. their API is good. I was with authorize.net and usaepay, both of their systems don't offer API functionality that netbilling has. like for instance, if you're running a mainstream recurring site, and want a "cancel my membership" link in the members area, with authnet you would have to manually stop the recurring billing in their interface each time someone wants to cancel.. with netbilling, there is api that you can script into the cancel link that'll automatically stop it so you don't have to mess with that shit.
