Im split on the immigration issue. I think the biggest issue is simplifying the immigration process. Anyone who has gone through it knows its a cluster fuck. Took us 3 years to get my wifes Greencard all situated. Its also very costly. It cost us close to 5k in fees, and two trips to Memphis, and one to New Orleans to get everything finished. Most of your run of the mill imigrants looking to just have a chance in America couldnt afford just the fees.

Well depends what area you are from how you feel about certain imigrants. Here in TN the Mexicans that live here are very VERY hard workers, and are rarely involved in criminal activities. There is a large draw for TN in some areas. I lived in McMinville for about 9 months while my wife was a Student teacher. McMinville is the Nursery capital of the country, and Ive heard the world actually, so that area had a very large influx of imigrant workers.

Few years ago I managed an autoparts store and over 3 years or so of being there I never once had an issue with a Mexican customer. They are some of the most polite people I had to deal with.

Now out in Cali and other areas Im sure you get some very undesireable Mexicans. Its an area to area issue I think.

As for the crminnal record thing, you should really visit Mexico to see how the cops here work. If they need lunch money, you could get a year in jail if you cant pay, and the situation goes bad. And then it should truly be on a case by case basis.

As for having them in the millitary, you would have to teach them english, you use them as cannon fodder.

I agree with that. It's the system that perpetuates illegal immigration. The way to solve the problem is to take a deposit of around $2000 from a guest worker and have his employer deposit 25% of his earnings in a holding account that can only be collected upon return to Mexico.

Solving this illegal problem is an easy one. Round up the illegals by whatever means nessicary. Give them thier due process to shut the liberals up even though they have no right to it since the consitution does not apply to people who are not citizens, and jail those found guilty in military prison camps. When the camps reach capacity, close all public schools for one week in every border state. Herd them onto the school busses and bus them back to wherever they came from. Upon exit from the vechile, they be given a paper (written in english and whatever else that is needed) that explains if they come back and are caught again, they will be put to death. And then make good on the threat.

And to whoever above me who said imagine how much a pound of tommatos would cost if I paid an American to pick them: Its a price I'd be willing to pay.

First I feel different then most because my great grandfather was a illegal. He worked as a cook on freighter from Italy and he jumped ship in NYC. What illegals really are is in country outsourcing. Solvoing the mexican illegal issue is an easy one. Dont go after them. it like chasing a needle in a hay stack. go after the businesses, that hire them, as well as the people that rent homes and appartments.
