I beg to differ, he was a genius at one point. Family Guy is just a shell of it's former self.

Also keep in mind he doesn't really write the episodes, his role would be more of a creative director type... so for all we know the writer of the episode in question came up with the funny osama bit.

Family Guy is definately getting better with each season. I think people forget that The Simpsons did it too but after so many seasons its not seen as edgy anymore, its typical. A lot of the episodes focus on Marge and Homer fighting about something stupid. Its almost like they're trying to play "catch-up" with the stupid things Peter does on the Family Guy.

The funny part is right after it cuts off, they do a "Naked Gun" parody where Stewie comes out and kicks their asses then it does the cop car riding through different places, which is hilarious.
