I beg to differ, he was a genius at one point. Family Guy is just a shell of it's former self.
Also keep in mind he doesn't really write the episodes, his role would be more of a creative director type... so for all we know the writer of the episode in question came up with the funny osama bit. |

Family Guy is definately getting better with each season. I think people forget that The Simpsons did it too but after so many seasons its not seen as edgy anymore, its typical. A lot of the episodes focus on Marge and Homer fighting about something stupid. Its almost like they're trying to play "catch-up" with the stupid things Peter does on the Family Guy.

The funny part is right after it cuts off, they do a "Naked Gun" parody where Stewie comes out and kicks their asses then it does the cop car riding through different places, which is hilarious.
