7 boxes and a local server - and a laptop, tho rarely use it (hate the damned things). Gimme a box and basic tools and I'm happy - the rest is shit for others to fuck up and some spare for processing/scripts/backups.

we have 13 computers in our local network....we each have a desktop and laptop and we work across our network.
i am married to a network engineer who never throws anything away. computers never die. they become servers and data storage.

Well as long as the topic is alive again...
Not including servers or render boxes, I have 2 workstations that I use everyday as well as my personal system (all of which keep my office at a constant temperature of just under "hot as hell"  )
