maxmind GEO IP vs IP2location ..
which is more accurate for you ?? I'm trying to determine which database is more accurate as I have heard both stories ...

They both got my location wrong at the office. I am in Natick and it says Belmont and Holliston. Verizon FIOS
When I am home in Boston both get it correct. Comcast Cable

and how do IP2Location's perl and php modules compare to mod_geoip +perl or php?

We have been evaluating both products for quite some times and found that IP2Location is more.
