maxmind GEO IP vs IP2location ..
 

which is more accurate for you ?? I'm trying to determine which database is more accurate as I have heard both stories ...

I've always felt ip2location was generally more accurate.

Id rather use ip2location because of the pricing ... unfortunately maxmind got my city correct and ip2location didnt ......

i know some of the top adult dating sites use maxmind .. but haven't heard of as many people using ip2location .... hoping to see some good results for them tho

They both got my location wrong at the office. I am in Natick and it says Belmont and Holliston. Verizon FIOS

When I am home in Boston both get it correct. Comcast Cable

and how do IP2Location's perl and php modules compare to mod_geoip +perl or php?

We have been evaluating both products for quite some times and found that IP2Location is more.
