Anyone ever hear of Heritage Web Design?
my ups driver is trying to redo his website on the cheap. i told him he gets what he pays for and being that his site will be in an upcoming movie (and he has been on national tv), he should pay a real designer to design his site and integrate his shopping cart.
long story short, this place is charging hin 500.00, they keep the files and he MUST host with them at 50.00 a month. back in the day i heard these deals which seemed shady then. anyone ever hear of this company, good, bad or indifferent? |

sounds like a scam that teleteria perfected - they even kept the domain name and billing info and charged clients to use a members area that is full of free content and linked to all their other clients. Biggest rip off artists around. But - when you go cheap avoiding the professionals - you pay for what you get so not a surprise that someone gets ripped off like this

i'm going to tell him to nix the deal tomorrow. he owns a nanny cam site. it aggravates me that he's so cheap because for 2k, he could have a great site. god knows his ranking is good and he pays for top spots on google so....
you're right, it does sound like the teleteria scam. we use a privae designer so i really don't know who is out there that i can recommend to him that is within his cheap budget. |
