T. Monk, Coletrane, Coleman, Davis, Parker...anything for the most part of Blue Note or Prestige...all the usual suspects.

I'm in to more of the big band sound, so definitely check out the Mingus Big Band, especially their double-disc "Que Viva Mingus." They play every Thursday at the Fez in NYC and I'd definitely check them out if you're in the area.

Can't go wrong with the classics like Davis (Bitches Brew), Monk or Charlie Parker either.

Love jazz - only a listener since I can't play any musical instruments.

Jazz clubs in prague are the best! In the cellars.

Miles Davis -- kind of Blue

Herbie Hancock

I may be accused of being cheesy on this next selection but... fuck the haters: Vince Guaraldi

Of course, the obligatory listing of Dave Brubeck--great for easy listening and actually boosts my productivity re project management and specing out new software products for our clients

My big plan is to open a Jazz & Blues Club ...sometime...

My taste's all over the place depending on my mood but currently listening to a playlist of... Koko Taylor, Big Mama Thornton, BB King, Etta James, Miles Davis, Buddy Guy and Nina Simone.. and others who sound like them.
