Yeah, but at those prices, it's expected that you can afford the upkeep. What's the upkeep on a highend porsche like though? Couldn't exactly be cheap.

well, other than routine maintainance, i've never had a single problem with my C4S. it's not cheap, but certainly not as expensive as routine with a Ferrari. and it has to be said that a 911 is far more reliable than any of the Ferrari's. certainly not quite as exotic though. apparently the gallardo is supposed to be attempting to come close to the 911's level in terms of reliablity. any issues with it so far Minte?

Probably because it's now German. Owned by Audi.

I agree about even a highend porche not being exotic. Probably because they have so many different models. Same goes for MBZ. I see the AMG's and kind of pass them off. They are normal cars with big power. Part of me wishes only a 911 Turbo/GT existed

So far the only issue is that the brembo's squeal a little when I come to a stop.I've given it an Italian brake job,but it didn't solve it.I've since heard that it's fairly common with Italian cars.The brakes on the Gallardo could stop an 18-wheeler so if you don't use them *hard* quite often a little squealing is going to occur.
