Incorrect. The caller said that the total being lost to identity fraud has gone above that being lost to drugs..............not traditional crimes.

Kevin was more of a social engineer than anything else, read his book he talks about how he was able to talk his way into getting access. He relied less on security holes, exploits, etc.

Its not going to be the end of the world because of security flaws.

Coast To Coast AM, even for all it's foibles is a revolutionary venue that has not only advanced radio and computer and web technologies but is the #1 night time show. I was lucky to be there on the ground floor when it launched on the web. RealPlayer and other technologies owe their advancements to C2Cam. Sure the subject matter can get way out, but it's also a political and science via that has tackled issues far before they became mainstream such as global warming, weather technologies etc.

Greg, this is so true. When I first heard Art Bell, the subject was non-stop...ALIENS !!!! I lost interest quickly. Then Art Bell left due to family problems. Then he came back. Then he left again. In the beginning, I was more interesed in the truth behind his departures than what his guests had to say.

Art Bell was doing just a few shows in 2005. Usually Sunday evening, once a week, and many of those shows were old ones. He was happily married, and he said on ham radio that he was tired of his radio show. He was traveling a lot with his wife, and he was happy living in the desert. Then, a month ago, his wife, Ramona, died at age 47 from asthma. I thought Art Bell would never return. He loved her more than life. He told us last week on his show that he was seconds from taking his life when Ramona died. Then he thought about his 5 cats and the words of his deceased wife..."take the cards you have been dealt and make the most of them." It was the most moving radio speech I have ever heard. Art was so full of grief that a listener called the police and told them that Art Bell was about to take his life. The police set off an alarm in the studio as Art was talking to us, and he said he would be right back. When he returned a minute or two later, he said that he had to assure the police that he was okay and just doing his radio show. Then he said, LIVE RADIO, and all of us understood the impact that live shows can have.

Art announced that he will now be doing two shows on the weekends...Sat & Sun evening. For those of you who have not heard Art Bell and for those of you who have missed hearing Art, he will be on tonight at 10:pm, PST, and stations usually repeat the show at 2:00 a.m. http://www.coasttocoastam.com

Art Bell has brilliant guests...sometimes he has kooky guests...sometimes he has fill-in's like last night because his scheduled guest cancelled at the last minute, so an infamous hacker was called. Art Bell has been listed in the TOP THREE most listened to radio hosts in the country for years.

But I'm hooked, and Art really needs radio right now, and I feel like he is family, and I'm so glad to hear his voice again. He needs to be busy, and at 2:00 a.m., I need to hear a friendly voice when I can't sleep.

If not, you can listen via the web! There are tons of radio stations that broadcast via the web and Art Bell's show is in the top. Since you're on the east coast you might try the NY radio stations that broadcast via the web. I don't have time right now to hunt for a Florida one but there's got to be one.
