They aren't a shell company nor are they boarded up. The raid was total bullshit.

They now go under the name World Gaming and are one of the largest Online Casino providers on the net. They are by no means little.

FlyingIguana 04-10-2002 04:11 PM

didn't they move out of canada after the raid? i heard they were selling their adult business to focus on their gambling business.

after that i never heard anything else about them.

Yes they did sell their adult division.

No they didn't totally move out of Canada. They moved their corporate headquarters to Antigua but they still have a subsidiary in Canada called Inphinity Interactive, Inc which is their development division. They actually develop the online gaming software there, while their offshore division in Anitgua handles the wages.

Despite the setbacks with the raids, they are still doing quite well and have an impressive setup.

FlyingIguana 04-10-2002 04:18 PM

hmmm, i should move my corporate headquarters, ie my bedroom, to antigua.

get away from all this snow :)

Wasn't World Gaming part of Starnet? (Sizzle, Redlight, etc. etc.) -- they tried to get me to push their casino stuff like 4 years ago...

candidpublishinginc 04-10-2002 04:22 PM

World Gaming was Starnet's own online casino, but they decided to totally get rid of the name Starnet and just have their main company go under World Gaming. I assume it was due to the bad press they got from that raid.

anyone who criticizes ANY company for going public obviously doesnt know anything about business or the stockmarket

even though the OTCBB sometimes is the wild wild west, and alot of people have lost alot of money on pump and dump stocks in the OTCBB, just keep in mind that alot of the bigtime publicly traded nasdaq companies today were once OTCBB penny stocks. Im not saying this is the case here, just pointing it out. Being an OTCBB stock is nothing to be ashamed of.

Yahoo and AOL were both once penny stocks. It was a long long time ago, but yes, they were. I believe Cisco was once a penny stock also, but im not sure. :thumbsup

congrats muffy
by the way, if you don't mind divulging, how much did you guys spend in legal fees to get the company public?

We've been in business since 96 too however we were just a local web design company back then, not into adult. We didn't seriously get into adult until 98 when I started playing the search engines. There was no way Entertainment Network, Inc. could have known about us back then so I am in no way implying that it is their fault, because it isn't.

All I'm saying is that we're not trying to trademarket squat here which is the impression I got from Sniper's statement.

Oh well I'd rather have a private corporation with solid revenues (We have invested over half a million dollars into our dialer network so far) over a publicly traded company with no financial backing.

I TOTALLY disagree with that statement. You're suggesting that only successful businesses go public. Some companies want to go public just to soak up money. Hence all of the dot bombs we've had last year.

Yahoo still hasn't turned a profit either.

I'm very critical of anyone going public, but that's just me. I don't invest in the stockmarket, so I admit that I don't know much about stocks. However I DO know how to run a business, which is why my business is successful.

Muffy 04-10-2002 07:15 PM

Thanks for the support from most of you!!!

And to answer everyone's questions: YES...it costs a hell of a lot of money to go public in legal fees, etc. ...BUT the good news is that we made it...which is the first step. So, I'm happy for now...I'll keep everyone posted

Cheers,

Muffy

marty 04-10-2002 07:25 PM

good luck to anyone who has made it that far :thumbsup

SNIPER 04-11-2002 08:51 AM

Public or Private company it is still a great success when you reach the goal that you have been working for 2 1/2 years to achieve.
I applaud everyone that has a private business and feels that they are reaching the goals they set out for in the beginning. Continue the success, and let's ride this wave.

ServerGenius 04-11-2002 09:06 AM

Congratulations Muffy wish you all the luck dude!

RaGe 04-11-2002 09:26 AM

Congrats Muffy =)

Ignore those guys, going public as an adult company is impressive by itself..

Pornwolf 04-11-2002 09:31 AM

Congrats Muffy! I see a lot of hard work has been done on your part. You are doing good things for the adult biz as a whole (especially if you can get that stock price up!) Good Luck!

FreeNetPass Steve 04-11-2002 09:35 AM

Congrats on your move. It's always interesting to see an adult bidness go public.

Do you have a response to Lesman's question?

I was looking at your financials at http://www.digitalrooster.com/first02.html and it looks like you are losing lots of money and have no cash.

What's up with that?

As I stated earlier, it is very, very costly to try to go public, especially when you had to work for 2 1/2 years at it...the lawyers fees, accounting fees, and marketing costs are immense.

The way I read that. the majority of the costs are "Administration" read "Big Ass Salaries".. It would be interesting to see how many employees it takes to use up $386,176 worth of salary in 3 months.

Cheers,
Backov

Muffy 04-11-2002 10:03 AM

it's up to $0.30 now ... :Graucho

and NO there are no big ass salaries here....we have a lot of employees here who have worked very hard over the last few years to support the company in it's quest to go public. I have mentioned before where our big costs lie.

Cool beans. Good luck with it, and congrats on going public. I know it can be an utter pain.

Cheers,
