the company is real and so is their stock symbol...

never heard of them before, got any sites we can check out?

35 million shares of common stock...figure you kept half of that... so lets say your holding 17 million shares.

Check out etrade with the stock symbol DGROF
stock is at 25 cents a share down 94% today
your still up $4 million on the day of opening...

must suck that you were worth around $80 million at opening
17 million shares at around $4.65 a share....

damn, better than the lottery

im sure your still happy with your 4 million

am i close?

This isn't even listed on the NASDAQ. This is over the counter penny stock garbage.

No offense, but I'd be really embarrassed being part of a company that's selling stock at 25 cents a share.

Well...no I am not embarassed at all...

I am proud to be part of the first publicly traded company in Canada. I would rather be a company traded at $0.25 than not traded at all.

It is not an easy accomplishment for an adult company to go public.

its an adult company. just being able to go public is something. nasdaq is an otc exchange. every stock on the nasdaq is otc stock. there's also a lot of good solid companies that are penny stocks.

No NASDAQ is not an OTC exchange.

Second, if you want to go public and want to go OTC, it's fairly easy to get listed.

u obviously don't know what a negotiated market is, which is what nasdaq is. a negotiated market is an OTC market.

try taking a portfolio management course before saying i'm wrong

Congratulations, its always satisfying to achieve something you have worked long and hard for.

I am curious what motivated your company to become publically traded. You see very few public companies in this industry (playboy, NOOF, etc.), most don't seem to feel its worth the hassle.

Most of your posts on AWI and here are pretty good, but... whats up your ass today?

Have something against webdream? If so, come out with it, instead of attacking an annoucement that was made, that Muffy is apparently proud of.

Nasdaq is considered an OTC exchange in many respects, All it is basically is a central automated quotation system that brokers can use to buy/sell/trade.

Here's lookin at 3 years of financial investment classes on my transcript. =)

When it comes down to it, it doesn't really matter what the stock price is originally.

All they had to do is issue less shares.
0.10$ per share, times 1000 shares = 100$
1.00$ per share, times 100 share = 100$

Either way, way to go guys...

I suppose that I was a little too harsh. You are right that technically NASDAQ is OTC, but tranditionally with a few exceptions most OTC stock is penny stock or under 10 dollars.

I assume you're talking about Candid Hosting.

We've been incorporated as Candid Publishing, Inc. long before Entertainment Network, Inc. decided to start using the word "Candid" in their trademarks. Anyways this is nothing to do with them, and they aren't in the same business as we are anyway. They handle hosting and offer feeds. We do traffic brokering and are about to get into alternative billing.

Anyways, you guys wanted to get listed. That's fine. We personally want to be a private corporation and get my fundings in ways other than the stock market.

Good luck in your ventures. Sorry I was harsh. I tend to get emails of OTC stocks where the user tries to pump the stock and then dumps it, and I thought this was the same kinda deal since I never heard of your company.

One last thing. You guys aren't the first publicly traded adult company in Canada. Starnet was. That's a minor detail though.

Congrats on the IPO, even if it's small market. It will be interesting to watch. Adult IPOs are good for our business.

I was looking at your financials at http://www.digitalrooster.com/first02.html and it looks like you are losing lots of money and have no cash.

What's up with that?

They aren't a shell company nor are they boarded up. The raid was total bullshit.

They now go under the name World Gaming and are one of the largest Online Casino providers on the net. They are by no means little.

Yes they did sell their adult division.

No they didn't totally move out of Canada. They moved their corporate headquarters to Antigua but they still have a subsidiary in Canada called Inphinity Interactive, Inc which is their development division. They actually develop the online gaming software there, while their offshore division in Anitgua handles the wages.

Despite the setbacks with the raids, they are still doing quite well and have an impressive setup.

World Gaming was Starnet's own online casino, but they decided to totally get rid of the name Starnet and just have their main company go under World Gaming. I assume it was due to the bad press they got from that raid.

anyone who criticizes ANY company for going public obviously doesnt know anything about business or the stockmarket

even though the OTCBB sometimes is the wild wild west, and alot of people have lost alot of money on pump and dump stocks in the OTCBB, just keep in mind that alot of the bigtime publicly traded nasdaq companies today were once OTCBB penny stocks. Im not saying this is the case here, just pointing it out. Being an OTCBB stock is nothing to be ashamed of.

Yahoo and AOL were both once penny stocks. It was a long long time ago, but yes, they were. I believe Cisco was once a penny stock also, but im not sure.

congrats muffy
by the way, if you don't mind divulging, how much did you guys spend in legal fees to get the company public?

We've been in business since 96 too however we were just a local web design company back then, not into adult. We didn't seriously get into adult until 98 when I started playing the search engines. There was no way Entertainment Network, Inc. could have known about us back then so I am in no way implying that it is their fault, because it isn't.

All I'm saying is that we're not trying to trademarket squat here which is the impression I got from Sniper's statement.

Oh well I'd rather have a private corporation with solid revenues (We have invested over half a million dollars into our dialer network so far) over a publicly traded company with no financial backing.

I TOTALLY disagree with that statement. You're suggesting that only successful businesses go public. Some companies want to go public just to soak up money. Hence all of the dot bombs we've had last year.

Yahoo still hasn't turned a profit either.

I'm very critical of anyone going public, but that's just me. I don't invest in the stockmarket, so I admit that I don't know much about stocks. However I DO know how to run a business, which is why my business is successful.
