RayBonga,
I'm clearly not angry when posting hahaha, may sound serious at most :D

Others,

If you guys want I can talk about how to pick up women on the streets, styles, ideas ,

although I'm pretty sure this is a business forum.
Where we talk about making money.

Many people want to talk about their families and how there is more to life? Sort of not revelant to the main reason why we are here:

Make lots of money and retire.

And the others:
Fuck beautiful women
Live in big houses, fancy cars.
Give back to the less fortunate.

All this is done, after:
You make a lot of money.

There are a few kinds of wealthy persons. The super rich, which are so damn rich they couldn?t spend the money if they wanted to, which 99.9% of the people here will never reach that mark.

Then the wealthy, which earn the their wealth within this lifetime on their own. Normally they are business owners. (2/3 of the wealthy own their own companies) Out of this group of people, two types come to mind.

Wealthy people which buy lots of personal items, nice houses, cars, etc.. Normally these people make high incomes, but have very little personal net wealth in owned properties, stocks, bonds, etc.. However they do have the most current $150k car or lease. The neighbors and them think they are wealthy, when they are not.

Then the real wealthy people, normally owners of smaller companies, 50+ years in age and are normally very froogle people, who invest properly, don?t over spend, and have real goals & budget. These are people living in normal middle class houses; drive 30k cars that they own, and can retire tomorrow if they wanted. Oddly enough, MOST wealthy people do not fall into this category, hence why most aren?t really wealthy.

How many wealthy people here can retire tomorrow, for good? How many out right own their house or car? How many could loose their business tomorrow and survive?

I was just about to post that exact phase - "its not all about $$"

There are several mentalities in biz... some are guided by a desire to produce something that works and where just seeing a project works, gives more personal satisfaction than any money could buy. Thru that, there is often a fair amount of dollars into the bank.

There is another mentality that says, "I'm going to be king of the net and be a millionaire" etc. Basically the motivation is money and power, but 99.9% of the time that will never happen. The core motivation within your field of expertise is missing.

There are so many substantial businesses built on the basis of other than "just" money (tho this again needs managing and not to be derided). Richard Branson is one example - it's not about money, - it's about forming a cohesive unit to achieve something and see it work. I got a friend who is, or was, a heart surgeon. He invented a heart valve that is now in common use worldwide. He never set out with the object of being a "millionaire" - he had a genuine desire to produce a product that would help folks. He still works in his lab in the grounds of his house - not to earn still more royalties, but to do something constructive.

Another friend is a very poor professor (least by our standards) - but a very happy man. He specialises in environmental issues and sustainable eco projects. First time I met him he was working in a field he borrowed from a farmer and trying to grow some kinda lettuce which would produce a good crop. (OK.. had to try not to smile!) A short time later we had a project about to start in his field so I called him, asked if he was interested and a copy of his CV.

He sent this CV thru and the damned thing was almost 100 pages long. This guy had headed projects all over the world - from growing veggies in the middle of the desert involving 3000 people, to projects in China and the Galapagos Isles. His CV was full of letters of commendation from govts world wide as well as several awards from international organisations. Is he interested in money?? NA!! But he's one of the nicest people I've known and a very happy man achieving what he wants to achieve in life.

Folks who walk up and say... "Let's do this and I'll throw a million dollars into the pot to start funding it", don't impress me. My next question is, "What do you know about the project you are investing in, what experience do you have, what do you hope to gain from it and what actual real work are you going to do?"

As Thomas1007 says... it's not always about $$$'s

I always have new goals to reach.

when I was 15 years old, that goal was 75$ a day
when I was 16 years old, that goal was 150$ a day
when I was 17 years old, that goal was 250$ a day
when I was 18 years old, that goal was 500$ a day
when I was 19 years old, that goal was 1000$ a day

all i know is that the internet business is very unstable, so I SAVE most of the money that I make. This way when everything fails, I have a lump sum of money I can either live off by for years to come, or to invest and make it work for me.

Aye, not a bad book, lots of cool stats. The idea behind the book was something I already agreed with and try to accomplish. It was interesting to find out though the normal age of a wealthy person. It was nice to know that I?m 30 and headed in the proper direction.

Years ago, I spent what I earned. Cars, boats, lived on a lake, spent money as fast as it came in. I had a blast being stupid and at the end of the day I didn?t feel complete. Once I learned my lesson, I changed my ways.

Two kids and a wife later, my net bank account is almost double what it should be for my age. However, I haven?t invested much at this point, which I hope to change after this president gets out of office.

How much do you need to make a day?

If you are working a job that makes $50K a year or less and come into this industry then you must make $133 a day to sustain your life. If you plan on leaving that job and making more than you did while in that field, you must make more.

If your goal is to buy a bigger house, a newer car and invest money for retirement while having your own insurance and what not, you need $250 a day minimum.

If you want to own a large home, but not in Malibu, and drive a $50K+ car and be flashy while still being able to invest, you need $500 a day minimum.

If you want to live in Malibu, drive a $80K+ car and be extremely flashy while having money left over to invest you need $1000 a day.

If you make more than $1000 a day you have definately "made" it so long as you are in a situation where you can easily sustain it. If you have to post galleries, update blogs, crop thumbs and do a shitload of shit to keep the money flowing and cannot dream of taking 2 weeks off then you have not made it and need to invest your income in a way that will allow you to do this.

It can be as simple as hiring an employee or multiple employees. Never partner, always hire people and make sure to have them sign contracts saying you own the work they create and they cannot use your propriatory methods else where.
