Twats!
Now I can't wait to get to my island and grill some steaks!! Gotta wait until the ice melts away, surprisingly... ...maybe my physical form gives it away, but I love good food, and I know how to cook it. I don't eat a lot, but I eat good. If there was a way to measure how good a food is, it would be by the calories.

why would you hate to cook? I would LOVE to be able to cook all kinds of awesome food! I'd be cookin' stuff all the time! Portabellas, steaks, marinated chicken breasts, all kinds of different fish...... (I'm gettin' hungry again here...)
why would anyone hate to cook? Is it the dishes cleanup afterwards or the actual cooking process that you don't like? |

Also I forgot to tell you, If you like cabbage, you can cook it on the grill too. I take a whole head and cut a core out of the center big enought to put a stick of butter in and lots of salt and pepper. Then wrap it up tight with alot of tinfoil and put directly over the coals say while your cooking the chicken. It will puff up and steam on the inside and cook along with your meat. You can slice potatoes onions peppers etc and wrap them up the same way. That way when you cook on the grill you dont have to fire up anything or mess up more shit in the kitchen, less dishes to wash too! |

Not being real maternal seems to equate to the hate cooking. ;-) *I* DO do the cleanup. He just does the cooking part. Since I never learned many fancy ways of cooking in Home Ec might have something to do with that.
My own Mom worked and she didn't have time to teach what she knew to us. So I grew up with the basics, beef, potaotes and veggies (always steamed to lock in their good parts) My fav meal (one of them) growing up was beef tongue but the old man won't deal with that one. lmao He says the Eastern Tribes (him being part of two of them) didn't eat the entrails and what they thought the nastier parts of the game they killed. Nor did they have that many buffalo to shoot at to begin with. lol Just gimme a med rare steak (round steak whole works for me), a potato (baked and then mashed out with butter and some cheddar cheese) and some french style green beans with real butter and bacon bits. And I'm happy! Raw meat works when I'm really hungry and he will match me bite for bite. lmfao Oh a bit of salt enhances the raw beef. |

She will really like it at first and do all sorts of good little favours. But then after a few months she will expect it all the time and back to the same old crap. Well that's what happened to mine anyways. |

I never learned to cook at home, joined the forces (never needed to cook) and have spent about 4 years living in hotels eating meals or going to Indian or Chinese restaurants.
I can heat Super Noodles in a pan of water or maybe open a tin of soup... The way I have it figured now is that I earn money so that I don't have to cook...anyways, the local Chinese do a wicked Singapore fried rice for £3.50. |
