You renew my faith in GFY that not everyone here has their heads stuck in the sand. I don't think this case has anything to do with free speech. It has more to do with Chris exploiting dead American soldiers and so incredibly devaluiing their memory for porn in a state where the Governor is the brother of the Commander in Chief.

Chris is what is wrong with this industry and the sooner he (and others like him) are removed - the better off we'll be. Personally, I hope he does serious time in a cell with war veterans and he can use his "free speech rights" to yell "please don't ass rape me tonight" then.

There are PLENTY of webmasters/corporations in Florida and you don't see anyone going after them and the reason is simple - they aren't using pictures of dead soldiers as a meal ticket.

For those of you that think Chris is some kind of martyr - move to Florida, open up a paysite and trade memberships for pictures of dead American soldiers - put your money (and freedom) where your mouths are and join his cause!

As you said HE knew how it was and HE choose to do business there, HE knew that they did not like it and HE was a public figure. Why do you feel bad? Sounds like he made a bunch of decisions based on more than the average amount of knowledge an "innocent" had. Now I do believe it has gone to a point past this, where yes now it does have a lot to do with the rest of us, but still he brought this on himself and the rest of us, why do you feel bad for him?

I am not sure if your comment about practicality of taking down a site that could irritate muslims was an argument for this whole ordeal, but it seems to me typing things like camel jockey and dune coon in a forum with high pr that is full of porn web masters is pretty much the oposite of that argument lol

What fucking difference does it make? I've seen pics of dead people posted here, big fucking deal. He didn't post the shit himself anyhow but that isn't what's important. I'm surprised on the stance you take on this, I mean if he were accepting pics of "gasp" dead dogs or cats I could see your panties in a bunch.

You nkow what folks, it's one thing for people to have their opinions as to whether or not Chris deserves what he's getting because of makign the choices he made (and I tend to think he did the right thing, myself, why not?). Everyone should read the transcripts and how that whole thing transpired, though, and THAT is what should have everyone's ire raised. If things go the way they look like they will, and if the appeals process has the same BS other obscenity cases have as of late happen, that could cause some potentially serious issues for adult in the next few years.

Definitely some bad precidents set.
