I plan on trying to attend more shows this year.
Everything just must fall into the correct places. Sometimes shit just happens that prevents everything.

Are you shitting me? We couldn't find one so just went up the stairs, haha. You should see security freak when I do things my way.

Oh, I think they choose a different location every year, but 2004 was fine too.

TheWylders 12-16-2005 05:25 PM

I personaly didn't see this as an attack on AVN, and I will be the first to tell you this isn't isolated to AVN whatsoever. I've got no problems with AVN, but I credit baddog for pointing out an issue that was brought up in an effort to get some free tickets in a contest. I applaud AVN for stepping up to the plate and taking notice and offering to make sure these issues wouldn't be a concern in the future. Believe me, things like this get lost in the shuffle all the time because it isn't seen as big of an issue as it really is. Unfortunately it takes people hearing things like this and realizing the problems that exist before it's noticed. The disabled community is a very small one, especially in the adult industry and it's nice to see people take notice of some of the small things that can really be big problems for some of us.

Hey, problems with AVN, Internext, women, making rent or anything else, I am always available. In fact, I rarely leave the office for that very reason.

Contrary to the insinuations of some, the only agenda was to rectify what I (and apparently others) felt was a wrong.

in all seriousness, farley has always gone out of his way for me and i thank him for that. for someone at the highest level to contact an individual advertiser to make experiences turn out right is appreciated.

i wish i was going to internext, i'm just not gonna pay abhorent expenses because of the supply and demand in vegas that week. 600+ dollars a day for a hotel room that i will only see for 2 hours a day, not likely.

next year i hope that something can be done to not have this show during the circus that is CES. please listen to us farley, i'm pretty upset that i can't go.

:thumbsup

You are so right babe, Farley Far does go above and beyond and that is why we love him so........he is professional and just a sweetheart inside and out.

hugs,
tina

Thanks A1R3K-
I just had a great conversation with Jim from Hustler. We cleared up the fact that in all the years of all the shows no one has ever had a problem with hadicapped access. In addition, he was supportive and helpful in giving me the attendee's info. so that I could be sure he would be taken care. Thanks for being a real gentleman Jim.
Again, if anyone has any concerns or problems, please contact me personally.
Thanks

My pleasure Farley...I have known this crew (AVN)for a very long time...Farley is hands on if you bring it to his attention he will roll up his sleeves and make it happen...as he has just done

Some personal biz was aired out... that can be uncomfortable I am sure your badge is handled with AVN based on my conversation with Farley (always the stand up guy I might add)

Nothing to see here folks keep it moving....

Leave it to Jim. You are one Class Act Guy. Thank you Jim on behalf of our Industry.
Kudos to everyone that stepped up.

Wait a second,

Content/promo girls get into the show floor free now???

I remember Roger V bringing this issue up awhile ago.

From the first post in this thread "Baddog" said promo girls get in free???

Is this true??

Fletch XXX 12-16-2005 08:41 PM

where all the generous when its needed?

I like the AVN and AVN-Online crews. I have every AVN going back to '82 or so.

I find them to be excellent references for movie and legal matters. Mark Kernes is a great investigative reporter with a wonderful sense of wit and Clyde De Witts legal advice has kept us all out of trouble at one time or another. The rental and sales charts are used like Bibles by many companies.

AVN has also been very generous in its support of FSC and other special projects.

Thank you, Paul, thank you. :thumbsup

Where did I use the word free?

Of course AVN could give a rats ass about this so I must still get a badge for someone that will just be helping me out and pushing me. This is almost like them charging a blind guy for an extra ticket for his seeing eye dog.
It nice of you to compare your attendant to a dog :1orglaugh

I guess this got resolved, I still see this thread going another 2 pages tho lol.

I was waiting for you say that.

Correction, you did not say "free"

Do you care to comment on these special passes for content? It would be interesting to hear some more info on that.
