All I can say is WOW :thumbsup
I hit up Chris today on ICQ to find out about my Voicemail and if I could have my own number somehow and not only my Voicemail is working now, I even have my own number in the same area-code where my Company is set up / registered. Thats what I call TOP NOTCH super-helpful support, even on a Saturday when Chris is not in the company working. I'm super happy now and will def. keep using SplitInfinity VOIP for a long long time :pimp SplitInfinity and Chris ROCK :GFYBand Thanx so much for the quick help, it's greatly appreciated ! Steve |
Deb, hit me up on ICQ or AIM. :-)
Cheers. |
Update:
So I've played around a little bit, and got my SplitInfinity VoIP with dedicated number now working with this baby: http://www.avm.de/en/Produkte/FRITZB...inen_blick.jpg Link to the Box It's an all in one Box for: VoIP, DSL, WLAN, Phone-management. Basicly I have one wireless phone and a fax attached to this box and 4 numbers routed to the phone, 1 to the fax... 3 of those numbers are VoIP, 1 is my landline. Comes in quite handy cause I don't need another phone or the soft-phone either. Pretty cool to if you ask me :thumbsup P.S.: Thanx to Chris again for taking time and monitoring as I was playing around with the setup of the SplitInfinity VoIP number in the Fritz.Box :pimp |
No problem! Hey, that box looks pretty cool.
Soon we will have a huge selection of devices like that that you will be able to use. Keep an eye on this thread. Im happy that everything is working well for you. Deb you around? |

Ok, adapter is here, Thanks Chris.
However, I'm having problems setting it up (no support info included). It seems that the first step is to locate the adapter's IP address. On their forum it says: "To determine your adaptor's IP address, pick up the telephone handset. On a Handytone-286 or Handytone-486, dial "****" (that's the star symbol four times) and the device will read the IP address back to you. Enter the address, including the dots, below, overwriting the "0.0.0.0" entry:" Since I have an adapter box and not an actual adapter phone, I have no handset to pick up and dial **** on. lol So, this is my stumbling block to getting this set up. I'll report back should anything change. *sighs* |
Alright, found the above info. Now onto the rest of the setup. Wish me luck! lol

I'm gonna go over it again. Maybe I missed something. Gonna get hubby to read through it too. Sometimes you find things easier with more than one set of eyes looking at it. :) |

Dear Customers,
1- We had a slight hiccup with our main US provider today. We quickly moved to a secondary provider. We are now back with the primary. 2- We have upgraded our routing for the following countries: Honduras El Salvador Vietnam Syria Your feedback would be most appreciated. 3- For the past week or so, we have been using a new Canada carrier (more expensive for us). Has it been worth it? Have you noticed a difference? 4- Russia Moscow code 7495 has been added and set at a price of 1 cent. We'll be working on refunds, since supposedly it changed over in February. (For those who are not beta testers) Thanks, Chris |
