Just a bit of explanation, there is a BIG difference for people who have used Ibill EU (they're luckier) and Ibill US (First Data desaster).

Ibill EU: These funds get paid by Inteca and they are more or less on time and accurate. Maybe some people miss a couple thousands in reserve payments but more or less these are being paid. Rebills are processed in the Philipines now from what I hear and those are also being paid pretty much on time (give or take a few days delays). Once again, possibly minus reserves.

Ibill US: Did anybody ever get any of the "Frist Data" funds (other than the First Data reserve)? Ibill is still owing people millions back form Sept. 2004. Now what they obviously tried is the following proposal: "Use our new processing solution in the Philipines (gKard), and we will pay out a % of what we owe you from 2004". Guess it didn't quite work out for most people :(

webmeister 11-27-2005 08:50 AM

Legally, Ibill has to pay every penny that is owed, unless of course they declare bankruptcy.

GKard is based out of a small island in the Caribbean. The Island is a recognized sovereign country with police force, and coast guard. Your money will be safe there.

This is a fundamental flaw even with "large processors" right now.

I got total respect for the quality of the people behind this - they are well-qualified and familiar with e-commerce and the problems attached. Can't remember now how many millions they managed to retrieve from iBill banks on behalf of EU webmasters - but it's a lump!! :-)

They are also very helpful - so worth shooting an email thru! :thumbsup

I am really impressed, I got an e-mail back right away! Thanks again :)

I bill is a lost cause and knows that they are hated. I think that is why they brought all stocky guys with them to the Summer Internext Show.

You must have an awfully strange view of "safe"

"safe" is when you can get your money at any time , not when it is stolen and not returned , thats called robbery..

BTW wheres my money you promised... You better have my money by monday night at the very latest..

imageman 11-27-2005 10:21 AM

Every time this fool posts he digs a bigger hole for Iball's to drop into.......

Mind if I ask you something? :) I'm just damned nosy! How long have you been dealing with processors or employed by them? Do you operate websites as a webmaster? If so, how long?

OK.. Back to the point - and I promise I won't burst out laughing and spew coffee over my keyboard. Who told you the stuff in your post? Are you familiar with this "small island"?

True, it is a sovereign county.

It does have a police force - kinda. They are busy shooting themselves in error, machine-gunning commercial airline pilots on the way to work and contaminating every scene of crime blah. It has been known for one of them to shoot himself twice while simply doing guard duty. The police chief was thinking of removing their firearms cos they were unfit to handle these in public places. Fortunately, some guns never fired, else they would have killed a few more innocent people in error (they prob forgot to load bullets).

Coastguard and customs? Sure they have some of that as well - kinda. They got a boat - it needs repaired, but a good boat otherwise. Customs keep opening the wrong luggage at the airport and causing embarassing incidents with a case full of talcum powder - at least that's what they said.

Now... about "Your money will be safe there." - this is a matter of judgement. :winkwink: It's all about the credibility of banks. That cred rests with individuals who operate banks and I got some faith in em - oddly (there are valid reasons). However, they are probably regretting the day they ever heard of gKard, Galanis or Molina. They don't like people with fraud and drug manufacturing backgrounds and gKard will not, - ever - be an account that will be beneficial to a bank. Little doubt eyes are on gKard activities on this island - at least when the banking security oversight folks are not pissed in the bar.

You getting a clue now? :winkwink:

Hell no! What makes you think that? :winkwink:

iBill are an upstanding company and that comes from the top downwards. Never missed a payment since they were founded and have an excellent repuation with the global banking community - sometimes more than you may think! :winkwink:

And... Another BUMP for Claude, Smokey, SK and webmasters who have been lied to and still never been paid! :)

When someone grants a nice donation of around $14 mill plus - they may then claim they are solvent.

If ya ask a merchant bank about iBill's prospects - they we just assume you are insane for asking. :winkwink:

I myself am surprised that there hasn't been a class action lawsuit filed on this. Maybe they think there are no assets to distribute.

Merchant bank is in the Philipines. Their offices could be registered in Nigeria, it really doesn't make a difference.

I heard that Ibill ran out of paper to print the checks.
They will be sending checks out as soon as the check paper arrives.
lol

Seriously, everyone owed money should contact the Florida Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission. Then retain an attorney to fight for YOUR money.

Here is the Florida Fraud Hotline 1-866-966-7226

Federal Trade Commission - File a Report

A big thank you to all the people who keeps bumping the thread.

Iīve been reading through your post and I think we need to seperate webmasters between the US and the EU.

US: you should proably follow the advice posted by Dustman. Here goes:
-----------------------------

I am in the EU and I donīt think that it will do me any good to contact the FTC and whatever else is mentioned. Maybe Iīm wrong? Perhaps someone could shed some more light on the subject of foreign webmasters contacting US authorities, will it do any good?

EU webmaster: Webby mentioned Inteca which was probably the smartest post in this thread. Hereīs the page: http://www.inteca.org/
Inteca have been helping get some (repeat some) of the money owed to me back in the spring this year. Iīm very grateful for what Inteca have done.

At this point I have written to Inteca regarding this new "Agreement" I made with Ibill and hope to get an answer from them soon. Hopefully it will be positive, realisticly it will not help me.

I have also recieved a reply from Andrew Frederick Smith today after 2 weeks of silence and a zillion emails to every Ibill email I could find. I also mailed Christian Strohmenger, who someone mentioned in previous post. I suspect that he is the one who finally got Andrew to reply (or itīs one and the same person - at this point it would not surprise med).

The answer I got from Andew was that he didnīt knew anything. He could only tell me what "they" told him, which was that there still was a problem with the settlement payments and that he didnīt knew what the problem was. Thatīs what he have been telling me for 2 months now.

-----------------------------
Finally I would like to add that I hear all the people posting that I should write of the money. No, I will not do that. I earned them and I want them. Itīs not the end of the world, but it is a large sum for me - I want them and since Iīm having a kid i April 2006 and since my wife and I just bought out first house, Iīm not going to let this slide.

Now, bookmark this thread and keep bumping it just as you have so far. Once again, thank you for your help. Nice to see that GFY can also be a place for that :-)

Claude 11-28-2005 03:04 PM

and a short post to Webmeister.

You came to the board not liking Ibill:
http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...93#post8695993

After a few posts you are the big crusader spreading the gospel about Ibill:
http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...68#post8691668

Whatīs up with that - what made you change your mind? Seriously?
