Yes, it's true

All, As many of you have seen/heard, we have been purchased by Intercept Corporation out of Atlanta. They are a publicly traded company on NASDQ (ICPT). We are all extremely excited about this opportunity as it links iBill a bit closer to the banking community and the card associations. The net of it all is that we are here to stay and will be focused on continuing to improve our product set and our level of service. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to email me at [email protected]. Thanks!

Does this mean you guys are going to get your shit together?

My experience with mergers and acquisitions is things will get worse before better. IMO

Yep, the service will go to hell (as if it isn't there already), then the big company will wake up one day and "restructure." That's when things will get interesting.

nah ibill is good

this will probably make them the most strong and reliable credit card proccessor in the industry.

visa / mc / amex etc. just can't shut them off for "chargebacks" for example...

good move.

iBill-Cathy do you think there is any chance that IBILL can get a couple of programmers that actually know what they are doing ?
So we dont keep getting ripped off by your company being down all the time and not counting signups, I hope the new owners know how to run a CC proccessing company

There's no doubt this is a good thing for iBill - much closer relationship to the banking community and a MUCH larger audience to "factor" chargebacks into [I hear a rumor that iBill's transactions would account for less than 10% of the processing total of Intercept..]
