How can I check a hosts bandwidth quality?
Is it possible to find what backbone providers a host uses for its bandwidth?
E.g. Need a tool to tell me this for XYZ host: Incoming: 70% Savvis 30% Cogent Outgoing: 90% Cogent 10% Level3 PS. I know about FixedOrbit, but need more indepth info. |

Yes, one of the things of how you can check is to lookup the subnet in the routing tables, you can use a BGP4 router for that, a route-server or a public looking glass.
There are more ways to check this but this is a start, ICQ me if you need more info |
