A magazine shoot day costs $500 for the model, $500 for the film, the camera and lens are usually around the $2,000 and upwards level. The strobe lights are $1,000 each and I use 3 to 5 to light a set.

Then there is make up, assistants, location, and a few other things. How do you even dream that me getting laid is "Getting my moneys worth"

We are working in a business that's all about fantasy. For a lot of porn consumers the fantasy is that this girl will fuck him. The simple truth it if the girl is sleeping with the photographer he's working on a different level to other shooters or girls. She will sell better.

Personally, I'm not really into having personal relationships with my models... it just makes things way too complicated, although I must say I've had more than a few models try.

It's easy enough to find play partners outside of my business, I really don't like to take any chances or risks to try to play with my work associates (and models fall in that category)

the girls probably take better pictures when its a guy who they have fucked before behind the camera. i'm sure they get more into it than they would with some guy they barely know and feel nervous.

Some of them are and these are the ones who you don't want to shoot because they are desperate for work. If a model does it for the money it does not work the same way.

When you work for magazines you're in a business where editors see 10 times the amount of work they need, so 90% ends up being thrown out. Usually because it's not right.

You do nothing to distance or upset the model, the look in her eyes is very important. Then things like the pose and setting come us. I'm the most magazine published content provider on the Internet. While some fools work for companies who will but anything so long as its $150 a set. I work for magazines who pay up to $2500 for solo girl. A single solo girl set will sell 5-6 times and gross $3,000 to $5,000.

So what makes the difference? Well sometimes it's because the photographer and model work so well together they get more out of the shoot than usual. And sometimes it's because they're intimate and the relationship is coming out in the pictures. This makes the girl's work more saleble, therefore she comes back and gets more work.

But I'm getting told how to work by a guy who shoots at a price level I would not drop to.

So if you so good why aren't you shooting for magazines as well as the Internet?

Or do you prefer to shoot for $150 a set?
