Hey computer techs, question.
Pentium® 4 Processor 640 with HT Technology (3.20GHz, 800 FSB)
or a Pentium® D Processor 840 with Dual Core Technology (3.20GHz, 800FSB) What would you choose? Any differences? Thnx. |

The Pentium® D Processor 840 with Dual Core Technology isn't going to help with gaming but I would still take it if you plan on working with multiple applications open. There's got to be a review out there that's better than the advice from some guys on GFY. Also, if you're really interested in a dual core processor I would consider using the Athlon 64 X2 since they are engineered far better.
