First, I think it's fine and useable, but not fantastic.

Second, I think your style of work is antiquated. People have been drawing your style of work for 100 years already.

Third, you are correct to submit this old, over done style of line and ink art because, as you can see, many logo seekers are stuck on stupid and have no desire to try something that dosn't resemble the stuff they see on other websites. They just want to "fit into the norm" and don't want to risk getting comments like I get. Too bad they don't realize that after this contest is over all the people who hate my submission will remember it and forget about the other logo's.

Further, surfers don't give a shit about how "good" your logo is. If they did then Green Guy would have been fucked a long time ago as well as Google.
Surfers only need a recognizable logo to identify you uniquely and your logo only makes me think of Walt Disney.

I doubt he will pay anybody in this contest. I mean, if he can't pay you $50 then why would he pay $250 to someone here.

$50 is something that should be paid even if he doesn't like your logo.
He should pay it just to keep his reputation(assuming he actually had a reputation)

1. Your Alexa ranking determines how much your site is worth.

2. You are a nobody in this biz if you have not seen MachinegunKellys work.

3. The day you join GFY is the day you started in this industry.

4. The pink dude don't like being called a dick.

5. Webmasters don't want to just hire a designer anymore, why spend $200 on a logo when you can make a dozen people work for that same $200 and only have to pay 1 person. I wish I could open up a record store, hire 12 people and when payday comes, only pay the people who sold the most records.

6. It is ok to call people "Niggas" and "monkeys".

Trademark infringement only applies to actual images from the film. A parody is completely legal. How do you think Saturday Night Live doesn't get sued?
