Katrina: The 'Pissed Off War' Is On!!!

Deeeaammmn!!!

I haven't seen Americans sooooo fucking pissed in my life.

I thought I saw it all. JFK assassination, Vietnam, Nixon's Watergate Scandal, Iranian Hostage Crisis....

NONE of them come anywhere near the level of pissed off people I've talked to and heard on the radio or seen on tv.

You KNOW shit is hot when white and black people together start cussin' at reporters and shit!

This has just started. Now that some folks have had a bath and a good meal and a good night's sleep they're riled up and ready to kick some ass.

I would say 90% of the victims the news had to bleep them out. Sounded like a rap record with all the bleeping.

Celine Dion went off the other night and she had me cracking up. I can just imagine what Cher, Dixie Chicks and Jeanine Garafalo have to say.

I ain't heard this much cussin' since the time back in the 60's when they interrupted the football game to broadcast the 'Heidi' tv special.

For all you youngins, when they did that, the country almost went to war!

I think people are frustrated, scared, sad, distressed, angry, and a million other emotions and have come to realization that ultimately you can't count on government for anything in the event of a disaster.

Another absolute hitting the nail on the head post man...

And Greg, I have to totally agree with you. The afteraction report is gonna be ugly, but with this administration and it's love of denial I doubt they'll ask anyone to resign or force the issue unless this keeps festering in the news. Only time will tell.

Hell no. It's all them nasty ol' libruls fault, after all.

Democrat in the mayor's office, democratic senator (at least one of em, the one that'll be hanging the albatross around), democratic uppity nigrahs who were in the way of urban renewal. I've seen an (unconfirmed) report with locals saying a spillway wall was deliberately detonated to drain off some of the water and protecting the (affluent) uptown area. Check it out.

What's really fucked up is multiple reports about FEMA and the Nat'l Guard and DHS restricting aid and aid workers from going into the city for days on end... and worse yet, keeping people from getting OUT! CTV had a reporter interview some stranded canadians who had to take up residence under an overpass at the city's outskirts because cops started firing 'warning shots' when they saw people trying to cross a bridge to get out of the city.

I mean, seriously... you've got foreign nationals fleeing a disaster zone essentially trying to do little more than find some place where they can hail a fucking cab and go home, and you start shooting? WTF?

Bill O'Reilly has been saying that you cannot count on the government to protect you all along. It's ludicrous to think the feds can protect you, and obviously you can't count on the Police or the National Guard to protect you. Time to go out and by that nice Ruger Mini-14 or a good shotgun for the times when anarchy knocks at your door. The first motherfucker that tries to get water from my swimming pool during the next earthquake is going to get it right between the eyes...

What happened is a fucking attrocity. Katrina has nothing to do with it at this point.

The Government and "Authorities" did everything in there power to not serve fellow Americans. Shit needs to be burned for the government to fucking understand that they work for us, not for a buck.

KRL, TheJimmy, yes you both are on target there!

What's surprising the heck out of me is the REPORTERS are now suddenly so outspoken! They're cussing on the radio and tv! Did you see how Geraldo, Hannity got into it?

When I saw one reporter standing next to a highway, the water had almost risen to 20ft to the base of the highway, problem was is the highway was SEVEN MILES inland! That hit the audience so bad the reporters and the audience commenced to cussin' on the air!

I've NEVER heard this much cussing ON THE AIR in my life! Considering the Cromwellian laws against profanity on the air the FCC must be making a fucking fortune!

You can't even mention Katrina here in Hollywood or ten people jump into the conversation and shit goes ballistic!

Everyone realizes that the entire country has been suckered into a false sense of security and have been getting ripped off.

Trust in government has dropped like a rock AGAIN and it's scary. You just wait til the hearings. We ain't seen cussin' yet.

Now the diseases are kicking in. If an epidemic breaks out that'll be all she wrote.

People-are-fucking-pissed!

Some are pissed at the feds, some are pissed that the hurricane coverage is interrupting their sports game tv shows and their soap operas.

Now Diane Sawyer is reporting on diseases coming and lemme tell you, we ain't seen shit yet.

the federal government signed a declatation 2 days before the storm:

Quote:
Clinton also said she believes the bulk of the investigation should be on the federal level because of the presidential declaration signed two days before Katrina struck.

That declaration put the federal government in the lead to coordinate the response to the disaster.

"I'm primarily interested why the federal government was not more ready, not more able, not more willing" to handle the response to the disaster, she said.
signing this PROVES BEYOND A DOUBT that the federal government is at fault for failing to react.

the state held the fort as long as it could while feds held back troops until papers were signed.

Shouldn't you be reinforcing your bunker in the woods? Don't you have some mail bombs that need packaging? When was the last time you updated your manifesto?

Fletch, you nailed it right there. Case fucking closed. Had they not been so eager to gather the spotlight they wouldn't be in the shit seat today.

The ramifications of that ONE decision, which I'm told is sometimes standard but I don't know for sure, may have been Bush's 'Waterloo' if you pardon the pun.

I can't wait til they uncover that these people are all infected with Cholera or Hepatitis- and the shelters they are all staying in become quarantined.

Then you'll see the people who have been moved to different cities and taking up with generous citizens infecting them and their families...not too mention these poor desperate and criminal minded people who will rip off the homeowners they will be staying with...

Am I being paranoid?
Or will this not happen?

There is so much more that the Govt is not telling us here- and I know they are scared- you can see fear in a lot of people's eyes here-

Let me explain something about toxic sewage...
You don't just sweep it up and throw it in a dump somewhere- that stuff is being reintroduced into the environment in the streams , rivers and Lake Ponchatrain.
Fish are dying in it- and dead animal and people are in it.

Even if you vacummed the entire entire dry- every home and building will have some kind of deadly mold growing in it
The entire city will have to be leveled with the exception of the French Quarter.

???? Are you kidding??? I don't need an alarm clock anymore to wake up because I leave the tv and radio on and at the crack of fucking dawn the yelling and cussing starts on the news shows and talk shows.

Victims are getting their energy levels up. Blacks are pissed and rightly so but they also see white folks taking them into their homes. The majority of whites aren't racist they're scared. That's the confusion. The whites on the other hand just realized that if push came to shove and they needed their government to aid them they'd be fucked as well like in 9-11.

America is divided by race because there are psychotics behind the scenes who use it as a means to keep people's attention away from them being fucked over. It's the oldest trick in the book but it's going to hit the fan now.

Now every hour they're finding more bodies. They found dozens of nursing home residents who died in their beds cause the rescue teams didn't get there. They found 100 people dead in a warehouse cause the rescue teams didn't get there in time. Those are the tips of the iceberg.

The lawsuits might cripple this country.

Is there going to be some fighting? Hell yeah and it's high time. Hasn't been a good fight since the late 60's and that's what this country is about, the people standing up.

We have had dangerous precedents set during the Bush administration. We know all three branches have been compromised. We know our resources are whored out to foreign country interests and we know the news press has been fucked because they're cowardly corporate lackeys.

You've been warned for YEARS but those who've warned you have been called conspiracy theorists or tinfoil hats etc.

Now you're fucked. And you wanna know if there's gonna be some fighting? Just wait til the disease shit kicks in that's started already.

500 cops deserted or died rescuing people. Every cop in the country is gonna hit the roof. Cops and firemen in the past 5 years have gotten their asses kicked and nobody is listening to them about how to do things right. They're the first to respond and die and they're treated like they're flunkies or something.

Everybody got fucked here and the buck stops at Bush's office.

I feel sorry for the guy. Yet you don't go on vacation when your country is in danger.

So just wait...The shit hasn't even begun to hit the fan yet. You're gonna see 10 or 20 million 'Oprah Winfreys' going for broke soon as they get themselves together.

Kbizzle, the news said just the same thing!

Yes, I took biology in high school and college. Even dry, some bacteria and molds are more deadly.

Flies and ticks and fleas that are biting the dead are now carrying those diseases by air. That is fucking non acceptible. They may have to burn that shit down. I kid you not. We've never had this much bio matter that toxic since WW2 and WW1.

It's hot, swampy and just the right breeding ground there and something has to be done immediately. Why the fuck they're letting people back into the area is in-fucking-sanity! They'll end up carrying that shit to the four corners of the earth.

Time to get a Hepatitis A shot
and let me tell you something else- I got Hepatitis A in High School while I was in a hospital
That shit nearly killed me
My spleen almost ruptured during my prom.

No joke-People you have no idea how bad this is- I don't want to even board a plane with anyone that came from that region.

These Red Cross workers are all exposed- the military is exposed, the National Guard and media have been walking through that water for days.

My favorite part of this coverage was last night while Anderson Cooper on CNN was riding in a boat with a doctor asking him what was in the water- the doctor goes on to say, "all sorts of Fecal matter, cholera, dysentery- etc."

Anderson's face turned white as a ghost. He then says to the doctor that everyone that has been rescued by helicopters has ingested the water due to the spray the Helicopters kicked up with their rotors-

It went into people's eyes, noses and mouths.

This is so gross. I feel terrible for all of these people.

KBizzle, like I've said many times before, we are looking at the end of the way we do business in this world from now on.

This disaster is equivalent to maybe ten hiroshima bombs. Without the radiation and death toll. yet the destruction is far far more.

Difference is now, the time bomb of disease that may or may not take hold. Let's hope it doesn't take hold because many people are getting on planes etc.

Greg - that football game was rocking - and the Raiders actually came back in the last 50 seconds to win - and we didnt get to see it! If you remember - back then we didnt have a whole lot of instant replays either LOL

Having obviously been around as long as you Greg (maybe a little longer) - you are right on the money - the aura you get on the news is exactly that level of pissed-off that was the start of the school anarchy leading to the violence in the streets of all American cities that same summer as the super bowl - and spreading overflowing into every middle class suberb - true there were some people that went the way of extreme violence when they started planting all the bombs and robbing banks - setting fire to federal buildings etc., but damn - you can feel it in the air.

I have to say it warms my heart to see something actually get all these sheep people that have been sitting back apathetic about their government for the last 25 years - its about damn time!!

Linkster! You remember that game!!! Jeez, I thought after the game got cut for the 'Heidi' movie that nuclear war would be launched. I will NEVER forget that shit! I was sittin' in front of the tv and all the guys were watching the game back then. Every red blooded American man was watching that game. I was too young to realize why but I was a Jets fan as they were the NY team then. I remember when the movie started. Then about half hour later or something all hell broke loose!

Every blonde haired girl with braids wasn't safe either east or west of the Pecos!

That was the most dangerous night in American history.

Hurricane Katrina: Why is the Red Cross not in New Orleans?

Acess to New Orleans is controlled by the National Guard and local authorities and while we are in constant contact with them, we simply cannot enter New Orleans against their orders.

The state Homeland Security Department had requested--and continues to request--that the American Red Cross not come back into New Orleans following the hurricane. Our presence would keep people from evacuating and encourage others to come into the city.

The Red Cross has been meeting the needs of thousands of New Orleans residents in some 90 shelters throughout the state of Louisiana and elsewhere since before landfall. All told, the Red Cross is today operating 149 shelters for almost 93,000 residents.

The Red Cross shares the nation?s anguish over the worsening situation inside the city. We will continue to work under the direction of the military, state and local authorities and to focus all our efforts on our lifesaving mission of feeding and sheltering.

The Red Cross does not conduct search and rescue operations. We are an organization of civilian volunteers and cannot get relief aid into any location until the local authorities say it is safe and provide us with security and access.

The original plan was to evacuate all the residents of New Orleans to safe places outside the city. With the hurricane bearing down, the city government decided to open a shelter of last resort in the Superdome downtown. We applaud this decision and believe it saved a significant number of lives.

Oh now the Limbaughmeisters are trying to put the blame on the mayor of N'Orleans.

See, it's my old theory:

A black guy did it.

It's the oldest alibi and excuse going back 300 years in this land. All you have to do to avoid arrest is just say:

"A black guy did it!"

And cops will pour out of the woodwork to hunt down the nearest black guy to beat down and arrest. Remember 'Susan Smith' the weirdo who killed her two boys? Told everyone a black guy did it and cops from one end of this country to fucking Mars were arresting black guys like it was going out of style.

So now all of a sudden it's 'the black guy's fault' again...

Some asswipe throwback is trying to start a race war or something and I'll bet it's just so martial law can be enforced nationwide.

Fuck the Red Cross - they are preventing aid from getting to people just as much as FEMA is - we have a little over 110 shelters here in Miss. that the Red Cross wont give supplies to because they arent "registered" shelters - theyre all the local town churches putting up evacuees - but the Red Cross wont help them one bit - they also areonly giving the $2k cards for the evacuees if they are in Red Cross affiliated shelters.
More importantly they have physically refused 18 wheeler trucks full of supplies from neighboring towns at Red Cross shelters here - they turn them around because the Red Cross didnt pay for them

Never again will I give one red cent to the Red Cross

Following is a post from a fellow over in Merritt Is, FL, a reporter who's been researching what went on before the storm hit:

I think all of Mayor Nagin's pomp and posturing is going to bite him hard in the near future as the lies and distortions of his interviews are coming to light. (Mayor Nagin claimed when the National guard arrived, the men were
sitting around playing cards and would not respond to his pleas for help in
evacuation.)

On Friday night before the storm hit Max Mayfield of the National Hurricane Center took the unprecedented action of calling Nagin and Blanco personally to plead with them to begin MANDATORY evacuation of New Orleans and they
said they'd take it under consideration. This was after the NOAA buoy 240 miles south had recorded 68' waves before it was destroyed.

President Bush spent Friday afternoon and evening in meetings with his advisors and administrators drafting all of the paperwork required for a state to request federal assistance (and not be in violation of the Posse
Comitatus Act or having to enact the Insurgency Act). Just before midnight Friday evening the President called Governor Blanco and pleaded with her to sign the request papers so the federal government and the military could
legally begin mobilization and call up. He was told that they didn't think it necessary for the federal government to be involved yet. After the President's final call to the governor she held meetings with her staff to discuss the political ramifications of bringing federal forces. It was
decided that if they allowed federal assistance it would make it look as if they had failed so it was agreed upon that the feds would not be invited in.

Saturday before the storm hit the President again called Blanco and Nagin requesting they please sign the papers requesting federal assistance, that they declare the state an emergency area, and begin mandatory evacuation.
After a personal plea from the President Nagin agreed to order an evacuation, but it would not be a full mandatory evacuation, and the governor still refused to sign the papers requesting and authorizing federal action. In frustration the President declared the area a national disaster area before the state of Louisiana did so he could legally begin some advanced preparations. Rumor has it that the President's legal advisers were looking into the ramifications of using the insurgency act to bypass the
Constitutional requirement that a state request federal aid before the federal government can move into state with troops - but that had not been done since 1906 and the Constitutionality of it was called into question to
use before the disaster.

Throw in that over half the federal aid of the past decade to New Orleans for levee construction, maintenance, and repair was diverted to fund a marina and support the gambling ships. Toss in the investigation that will
look into why the emergency preparedness plan submitted to the federal government for funding and published on the city's website was never implemented and in fact may have been bogus for the purpose of gaining additional federal funding as we now learn that the organizations identified
in the plan were never contacted or coordinating into any planning - though the document implies that they were.

The suffering people of New Orleans need to be asking some hard questions as do we all, but they better start with why Blanco refused to even sign the multi-state mutual aid pack activation documents until Wednesday which
further delayed the legal deployment of National Guard from adjoining states. Or maybe ask why Nagin keeps harping that the President should have commandeered 500 Greyhound busses to help him when according to his own
emergency plan and documents he claimed to have over 500 busses at his disposal to use between the local school busses and the city transportation busses - but he never raised a finger to prepare them or activate them.

This is a sad time for all of us to see that a major city has all but been destroyed and thousands of people have died with hundreds of thousands more suffering, but it's certainly not a time for people to be pointing fingers
and trying to find a bigger dog to blame for local corruption and incompetence. Pray to God for the survivors that they can start their lives anew as fast as possible and we learn from all the mistakes to avoid them in the future.

I dont know who the writer is of that information - but it is mostly incorrect - as an example - the state of emergency was declared by the Governor on Friday at 5pm which is the requirement to get the Federal wheels turning
http://www.ksla.com/Global/story.asp...0&nav=0RY5do3o
So I would say that your bashing friend is just making up stuff to make it sound reasonable - but its total BS

JimmyF, y'know I respect ya' but the info in that post don't chime with what we watched per procedure. Sounds like something Limbaugh would put out to cover up ass.

Yet Mayfield from the NHC was up busting his ass working as usual for him and got on the air about the same time you've posted the info above. Yes he went overboard to warn people. Those buoys are tough fucking items. They stand up to lots of shit but for one to be destroyed was enough to light a fire under alot of people's asses.

68' waves are not a good sign.

The storm surge at one point was almost 20ft high and travelled 7 miles inland. That's fucking scary beyond. Had it been a tsunami what we know of N'Orleans would be now located in Iowa.

Only official to admit a fuck up was that chick who ordered the evacuation ship pilots to leave before the evacuation could commence.

Why the fuck do you have an evacuation fleet of ships and then tell the pilots to leave because it's dangerous?

We will never hear the end to fucking up in this situation. Yet it clearly shows what many of us have known for a long time, you cannot depend on the politicians to protect you. It's like that old argument about keeping and bearing arms. It's okay if criminals have guns but if you do you go to jail. What asshat retard came up with those laws I don't know but I hope he/she is spinnin' on a pitchfork in the lower east side of Hell.

Nagin's an engineer/communications executive. He's not a tactical expert. None of the people in charge are emergency tactical experts. Not even Brown from FEMA.

What college did Brown graduate from, the 'Simon Bar Sinister School of Physics'??? Who taught him emergency techniques, the 'Sisters of Skeletor Squadron'????

It's called dumb mother fuckers in a mother fucker's job.

Oh, and another thing. The feds keep asking the press not to send out pics of dead bodies and shit. The pussy ass press of this administration actually DID THE OPPOSITE!

Maybe now the press is growing the balls they used to have when I was a kid. Fucking pansy asses let the Bush Administration fuck em' royally and now that people have died in record numbers now they're realizing they don't mean shit.

So the press is also showing pics of lighted buildings in N'Orleans like everything is alright. They're showing 'puppies' and 'kittens' being rescued and bulldozers cleaning up...

Fucking idiots.

Just wait in about a week when the waters have receded and the thousands and thousands of bodies start showing up.

Like I said the shit hasn't even hit the fan yet.

The one thing I like about Bush is he's a regular guy. No pretense, no uppity attitude BUT he's surrounded by some of the scummiest fucking shitslimes you'ld ever want to meet. Disillusioned psychotics.

Greed will get the best of this event as already oil prices started to rise and real estate and debt bubbles are about to explode. Watch, just watch, IF we make it out of this hurricane season alive and we get a harsh winter expect the majority of the people to be fucked by next summer.

Of course to us independents with low overhead means if you can pocket $50k easy by next Spring you will be in the cat bird seat and you will RULE...

So just wait til the bodies from this storm become revealed. The cussing and arguments are going to get worse.

This shit is scary! It's the closest thing yet to a nuclear disaster aftermath.

Now even FEMA director Brown is pissed off!

He's supposed to resign today or tomorrow.

If that ain't bad enough, the new Supreme Court nominee is also nominated to be the Chief Justice, bypassing several veteran justices already on the bench.

Watch the shit fly now

If fist fights don't break out soon I'll be surprised.
