Please help a newbie : Trying to get started

I just signed up for a merchant account and business bank account. However, I'm kind of scared because they bank account I signed up for states, "No charge for up to $5,000 in cash deposits per month". Does that mean I can only deposit a max of $5,000 a month PERIOD? I'm so confused about this.

Thanks and by the way, I'm new here.

That means that they don't like counting your bills and change. If you deposit more than $5,000 in CASH there will be some fees applied for handling the money, probably very small fees. If you are depositing cheques or bank transfers etc. this doesn't even apply.

If you can't read and comprehend the paperwork from your bank then WTF makes you think you can read and comprehend the ramblings on GFY?

I fucked myself because one person on the board doesn't remember the time he was a newbie and refuses to help others? He is just angry and I'm ignoring him.

I help people all the time, newbies included.

I don't help stupid people though.

Seriously.....Can't you read the God damn bank papers they gave you? Or at least ask your banker?

Who the fuck comes to GFY with the kind of question you asked?

Very true!

And why would you sign up for it if you didn't know what you were signing up for?

Banks especially, they love those fees and find a way to get them.
