Please help a newbie : Trying to get started
 

I just signed up for a merchant account and business bank account. However, I'm kind of scared because they bank account I signed up for states, "No charge for up to $5,000 in cash deposits per month". Does that mean I can only deposit a max of $5,000 a month PERIOD? I'm so confused about this.

That means that they don't like counting your bills and change. If you deposit more than $5,000 in CASH there will be some fees applied for handling the money, probably very small fees. If you are depositing cheques or bank transfers etc. this doesn't even apply.

Maybe you should read more about merchant account... I know you gonna learned... much better ask the bank for more clarification or ask questions, anything...
