what would you say the correlation is between these 2 things??
or is it just me? it seems my internet career and insomnia seem to go hand in hand...anyone else notice this?

Or maybe certain people are DRAWN to the internet based on this condition making it more of a personality career choice?

Yeah, I've got insomnia in a BAD way... and oddly enough it started when I started working in this biz...But I find that going to the gym and eating healthy helps. Try to establish a routine and you're body will get use to it...If nothing works I suggest you try something like Ambien or Zopiclone (only for a short period as these drugs are highly addictive)

I've had it since I was a kid. I've been forcing myself to go to bed by 1:00 am for the last month, to see if it will help. Some nights I don't make it until 1:30 or 2:00, but I still lie there wide awake and usually wake up by 6:30 or 7:00. I went to bed at 2 last night, couldn't sleep for awhile, then was wide awake by 6:45 and couldn't go back to sleep.

I think it goes together. All the webmasters I know are up to 6 in the morning. I think PC turn on the brain. WHen I finally decide to go to bed, I'm speedy and I don't feel like sleeping. I just go to bed because I have to. Last nite I didn't sleep at all. And this morning I went to the gym and I trained like a maniac! Byke for an hour, etc... Now I'm dead. can't work, but i'm sure i won't go to bed before 2 in the morning.

I've only slept 4 hours a day for my whole life.

Until I wised up, I worked 16 hours (salaried) a day for someone else. Webmastering works out well for me. If you take time out of your day to eat, sleep and shit then you are losing money.

Staring at the screen for 10 hours and then trying to close your eyes and calm your mind enough to sleep is hard to fucking do !

i usually shut everything down at least an hour before i crash out....it's help !
