yea, was looking forward to an Adobe interface as I'm great with Adobe software and don't find Macromedia to be as user-friendly

I'm the other way around. I'm o.k. with Adobe products, but much more comfortable with Macromedia. I'm a little nervous lol ;)

well, the upcoming flash release does include a lot of photoshop like features like the drop shadows, glows, blurs (Direction/gausian(i think)), and layer properties... i don't know if that is in direct cause of the merge.

but i KNOW the level of flash development is going to be stepped out several notches with these new features, it'll be really cool to see what is produced in the coming months...

sony pictures used flash beta 8 to do a brief flash intro for a movie: http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/underworldevolution/

they wouldn't have been able to do what they did with the snow flakes, blurred text, and other video effects in previous version of flash.

Dreamweaver looks the same though - just some nice extra features.
