MS Flash release? Not sure what you mean by MS... but it's going to be Flash 8, which releases sometime this month..

Microsoft bought out Macromedia.

I am greatly anticipating this new release as well ... can't wait!!!

yea, was looking forward to an Adobe interface as I'm great with Adobe software and don't find Macromedia to be as user-friendly

I'm the other way around. I'm o.k. with Adobe products, but much more comfortable with Macromedia. I'm a little nervous lol ;)

well, the upcoming flash release does include a lot of photoshop like features like the drop shadows, glows, blurs (Direction/gausian(i think)), and layer properties... i don't know if that is in direct cause of the merge.

but i KNOW the level of flash development is going to be stepped out several notches with these new features, it'll be really cool to see what is produced in the coming months...
