The value of free Hosting?
I know many programs offer it, we offer it, and to at least some it seems to be important. How important is it to the average GFY webmaster?

It depends on your primary source of traffic, if you do MGP galleries, it would be high up there, if you do seo, then no.

It's taken on a new level of importance thanks to all these movie galleries. I think 2003 & 2002 could have gone without them but 2004 saw a rebirth of sorts.
