What type of shark do you have in a tank that size? Do you have more than one? Is the tank square? I have always wanted to get a shark but was told I would need a much larger set up.

That is cool to keep fish but the arowana alone should be in a tank larger than 134 gallons. The salt water shark should be in a 1000 gallon tank or larger.

Where did you hear Leopard sharks being endangered? I see them all the time when I go free diving. They're definitely one of the coolest sharks to have in an aquarium. Is your Piranha aquarium brackish water?

You should get a big old tank built into your wall. Then get a few more girlfriends so you can make them take shifts swimming in it with him 24 hours a day.

The guys at the fish store told me they couldn't get them anymore cause they would just cut the mom and pull the babys out and kill the mother.
and they are endangered now.

and yes i put salt in the fresh water to make it brackish itsa aslo a good idea to do for any fresh water tank

Good call on the salt in freshwater. I used to add salt to my aquariums too. A small amount is good.

They sell them openly in NJ..not illegal here..

Possibly in Southern states they might be banned in petstores.

Really depends where you live and as long as your responsible and don't release them into the wild, your fine

You are an idiot. Last I checked they are legal to own in over 30 states. And the only way they would be a threat to anything is if they were released into the wild which I'm sure this person is responsible and wouldn't do that.

From what I've heard piranhas are not as vicious and scary as they are made out to be in movies. Especially when kept in captivity.

Small time affiliates who try ripping off your program get their hands put in the piranha tank..

Those that try it on a larger scale get tossed into the shark tank!
