I use Cleaner XL for all my encoding needs (MPEG-1 and WMV mostly). There are cheaper apps like TMPGEnc that can encode to MPEG as well.

Thanks Jim,

I have ProCoder but it uses the Mainconcept encoder. I have not had good results with the mainconcept software.

Cleaner XL does not have it's own codec for MPEG does it? What codec does it use?
