Well that is hard to say I think. Since it happend after a lot of changes for them.

What was the approval rate at the 3rd party, and what is the approval rate at CC's you see now?

Also, did this affect the CB's on a negative way?

7. Given the chance to do it all over again would you still split your company into 2 parts again, content and marketing?

Yes I would do it again. Back in 2000 I broke out our actual adult operations and sold them to Global Intermedia. ARS (the affiliate management side / marketing side) of the business was sold to Innovative Ideas which I own.

.............

Do you think if you had not broke out your adult operations would you still have had to make the necessary changes to remain solvent (was it a lack of control and/or the way Global Intermedia managed the sites that required the change)? OR ??

did the capital from the sale help you to continue to innovate?

finally what are you doing differently now with Storm Media

Motosat only works when you are stationary with a clear view of the south sky. Believe it or not, there is not a decent in motion solution.

Based on the numbers Marc posted earlier regarding his 40 month "heyday" ... and "another program" I worked with during its' "heyday" ...

I'd say 200K+ members.

Could be +/- ... but that should be about right considering free trials, paid trials, conversions to full membership, chargebacks, credits, retention, etc.

I could be completely off the mark, but I don't think by much, tbh.

Sorry I was out of touch yesterday. I was scheduled to make one more stop before my final drive home... I decided I was tired of stopping and starting and just made the 2 days of driving in 1 Anyways, back to the questions:

17. What was it like having such a large program and being so young as compared to your peers with other programs processing similar amounts of cash?

Success is a wonderful thing and it can be very fun, being young and successful just adds a multiplier to that I am not so concerned about the age of my peers, it wouldn't matter if they were younger or older.

18. Do you avoid shows cause you get mistaken for a twink pornstar?

ROFL - I may have missed my calling with that one ;)

I went to almost every major show up until the middle of 2004 - so I've missed about a year of shows. I'm not much of a 'partier' and I think the social atmosphere of the shows doesn't mix well with me. Am I saying I'm a geek? I guess that is all in the eyes of the beholder. I'm more of a homebody family man.

19. Why did you drop out of college? Any plans on ever finishing your degree?

You go to college for many reasons, the main one, however, is to increase your earning potential. At some point when you're making more than the maximum of your earning potential in the career you're studying for it's time to leave. At least that was my opinion

I may finish it someday but currently I'm just too busy.

20. How many homes do you have? Where? pics

I have 2 homes, 1 in Michigan and 1 in Las Vegas - I would have to take pics and get them online to show them off. My Michigan home is more of an estate, maybe I have those ariel photos somewhere.

I enjoy creating - in adult you have a wide range of 'stuff' you can make and then use to monetize traffic. It's fun, but being a game designer is ANY video gamers fan. I love making video games... Savage 2 is coming along BEAUTIFULLY and on Tuesday I'll post a link to our PR Announcement video.

Tough question - I know had the operations of the content been in our hands we would have done some different things, but that in no way means I set blame on GIM for what happened. There are WAYYYY too many factors involved in processing to blame any one factor.

The capital from the sale was a non issue.

Storm is owned by my sister, a much closer contant to the company. This allows for things to be developed a little 'closer'. That allows us to be a bit more dynamic and make some of those things happen that I suggested I would have done.

I invest in dividend paying stocks with strong financials and very little growth in terms of their value. I'm more interested in the quarterly / monthly check

Obviously outside of stocks I like to invest in other business, such as restaurants, video games, and of course, real estate.

I could post a long drawn out analysis on why I think it is pointless. Going public serves a couple of purposes, to try to an get an overvaluation of your company and be worth more on 'paper' with selling restrictions, etc... or to gain capital from your IPO to follow through on a specific plan of 'spending' to execute your business plan.

In adult there is really no huge expenditures where that kind of capital should be necessary, secondly, why do you need to appear rich on paper when you can just take the massive profits your company throws off and invest and save?

Please, those of you educated on going public, don't analyze my comments too deeply, this is a just a brush by answer. I took my company 3/4 of the way public and learned a GREAT deal about the process and the motives.

Obviously outside of stocks I like to invest in other business, such as restaurants, video games, and of course, real estate.
I suppose we shouldn't be surprised if we see you on the cover of Forbes one day.
