Anyone striking deals with Ibill? Here is my offer....

Andrew was patient with negotiations. I realize I need to put up a gkard button, but only as a secondary backup. I never planned on getting any of this 7K, so what do you thing?

Total owed amount:$7,066.98

* iBill will pay you $2000.00 on or before August 15

* iBill agrees to pay 3% interest on the balance owed

* iBill agrees to pay you the remaining balance in equal payments over 4 quarters

$1266.75 December 2005

$1266.75 March 2006

$1266.75 June 2006

$1266.75 September 2006

* You agree to put the iBill buttons back on the site

* iBill will reduce your processing rate to 13.69%

* You agree that the remaining balance will convert to IBD stock if you remove the iBill buttons from the site

Depending on how bad you need the 7k really but them trying to extort you to putting their buttons on your site is pathetic and I would imagine illegal as hell.

i say that they should pay you the money they owe you in FULL before you do anything. thats so extortion like to say, "hey joker, we will pay you, but you need to help us jumpstart the business that left you hanging before we do that." not right in my book.

and "we reduce your processing rate to 13.69%"

Inside the box theory. It's not about 7K, for I'm not getting that, only two before I put the click back up. Please understand that I was one of the biggest anti-ibill advocates, but I hate to lose $ unnecessarily, and they have been depositing my rebills all along. I am between a rock and a hardplace.

I know man, you have to do what you think is best for you! A lot of people will just sign up and not say anything, in hopes of getting back what is rightfully theirs. Thanks for putting it up for discussion

Here's my take.

I thought they were going out of business, bankrupt, and we would never see anything. But someone buys them out, assumes their debt, and they make several statements they will start paying back money that is owed.

Now they want to pull this shit " if you continue to use us......." How about this, I am continuing to use you, you rebill my people every month. So I am using you. And I would be sending you more signups if you didn't stop paying people for 6+ months. The traffic I was sending to my paysites i switched to clickcash when ibill stopped paying. I also had a nice content bill I was paying even though i was receiving no money from ibill. So, how about this, you pay me now, and I will use you again in a few months we i get my membership sites going again. When someone finally does reply to me, if they try to negotiate with me, it will be with my attorny. I am sure he will love to be extorted. If i going to give up half the money I rather my attorney get it then ibill keep it. Try me ibill.

If you would have just stopped charging my people and went away I would have never thought twice about this. But since you make the claim you will pay everyone, and you keep collecting MY money, it is time for me to get paid my 35,000 you owe me.

if ibill owes you money contact todd gravelle [email protected].
ibill has several settlement opptions available.
The fastest way to get people paid is via a rebate settlement.
The people that dont want to do business with ibill are still going to get paid 100% of there money plus intrest.when the new owners took over in mid Feb they didnt find a check book full of money on the floor.we are trying to pay every one but it is going to take time.

The nerve those criminals at iBill have never siezes to amaze me. How dare they put stipulations on paying people money they are rightfully and lawfully owed. Not only do you have to put your buttons up to get paid out slowly over the next year, you have to keep them up or your balance converts to that piece of shit, dog of a stock IBD.

The guys still pulling the strings there are the same ones who lost iBill its merchant account and fucked everyone over. The same ones who pulled out all of their cash before anyone else got paid.

The one and only right thing iBill can do is pay people what they are owed, no strings attached. Anything else is just more of the same bullshit.

Hey Todd,

I'm just curious what you are referring to when you say new owners took over in mid Feb. Last SEC filing I saw shows you are still owned by the same people. iBill is still owned by IBD. The largest shareholders in IBD are Penthouse, Molina, Galanis, and Samuels.

So tell me, what are the new owners who took over and found a checkbook with no money and are trying to make right?

The music is playing. Dance or don't dance, your choice. But bitching about it won't do one bit of good. Plus, there are too many "I think"-ers in this thread who never dealt with iBill to begin with.

Be smart. See YOUR long-term best. iBill WILL get back on its feet, with or without your help. At least help them get back back faster and you'll see your money back faster.

With all due respect, what do I have to lose? Why should I flush 2 thousand down the drain, for this $ would be in my account before I put up the click.
I think the problem is this; I am in the middle, If I was owed 25-50k (or more), I could understand not wanting to take the risk. If it was just 7-9 hundred; I can undertand someone saying, Fuck off ibill. Also one must consider that I still get a nice deposit in rebills twice a month.
I am still not sure what to do, but this thread has helped way my options, thanks.

You sure sound confident. I don't see how they can get back on their feet. I am curious as to why you feel so confidently that they will be back?

Do you really think their new "blog" site is going to generate that much revenue for them????

The simple fact that they are making efforts to get back, despite all the hate wave, tells me someone has plans for making a comeback. Now, the road uphill may be tough and there may be many obstacles along it, but if they can take the heat and manage to prove themselves good a few times, all it takes is a little positive feedback from a couple of trusted names, in order for things to start rolling again. If I were them, I wouldn't even be bothered about all the bashing. They have a business to run and seem determined to get back to their former glory. Every curve has a low and a high. I think they've already hit their low and swinging back up.

Of course, you can have your own (bitter) opinion about this, I'm only talking about what I see. I don't work for them and they don't pay me to say this. But what the fuck do I know anyway? I'm just a stupid marketer.

You call ownership pulling their money out of the company, and extorting people they owe money to making an effort??? You can have your money, but only if you send us more business. Great client relations....with more solid decisions like that one, I'm sure they will be back

I have no intention of arguing with you over this. I just exposed my own point of view. As I said, dance or don't dance, your choice. But I'll bet you anything iBill will get back to its former glory.

They're assholes. I went to ccbill in Jan after I finally realized ibill was just lying to us to maintain our suffering, whilst they enjoyed 100% of the proceeds that all of our members were paying ( to see our sites or in my case, my tits) so... let me just say that the offer to lower their RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED rates down to a low low 13.69% is retarded. CCbill is STARTING ALL IBILL CLIENTS at 13.5% across the board. it's still high but it's not 15% that magically morphed into a 100% fee from ibill eh?

Fuck them. scummy sleazy liar fucks.

ahhh, ok now i feel beter.

They have no intention of paying in full. They are just trying to stay solvent and I doubt they will make it. Part of their plan to improve liquidity includes, "Settling outstanding obligations at a discount with payments to be made over time"

Straight from their annual report http://biz.yahoo.com/e/050801/ibdi.ob10ksb_a.html

$1266.75 September 2006

* You agree to put the iBill buttons back on the site

* iBill will reduce your processing rate to 13.69%

* You agree that the remaining balance will convert to IBD stock if you remove the iBill buttons from the site
Far too generous DF!

This company screwed ya and being fully aware in advance of their problems.

You are entitled to the debt in FULL, - plus a reasonable interest - any court would increase that 3% interest rate, plus all costs involved in wasting time, legal fees blah in chasing em.

You are not obliged to deal with assholes and put any buttons on your sites/s.

IBD is another fantasy - worth nada and managed by idiots.

PS.. gKard stands for Gallanis card - a US crime family that milked 1000's of people from their homes in what was the largest fraud in US history at the time. Are these scum you feel you can trust?

It's not a bad offer, but its still extortion as far as I'm concerned. Most bankruptcy cases you'd be lucky to get 10-15% of what's owing. Litigation for only $7k is not really worth it so place those variables on the table and it may be worth it to you. But I'd sure as hell be certain to process as few transactions as possible with them in future.
