dedicated just usually means its burstable rather than capped at the speed... though for 100megs you arnt going to get burstable in most places because it would require a 1000meg port and you'd pay overages
so, unmetered and dedicated 100megs = same damn thing |

Most webhosts would laugh if you asked them for a 100Mbps server for $1000/month. That's not very realistic for premium bandwidth. Which webhosting company is offering you this deal?
