I'd do the same thing in his shoes. The use of force, although it should be the last resort, should never be ruled out. People are fucking crazy and evil exists in this world, and Iran's leaders are some of them.

However Iran is a country that will sell it's nukes off to other rogue nations. So with that being said, they do not need to have nukes. If we attacked Iran we wouldn't invaded it, we would do air strikes and probably special forces insertions to take out key locations just like what we did in Dessert Storm with Iraq.

It would probably be DS1 all over again, without the tanks rolling in.

Yeah invading Iran would be a suicide mission. Its bad in Iraq but it will be a blood bath in Iran.

Your not a very sharp translator are you... here I'll help...

"We will not rule out the use of force" can be translated to "We will flatten your cities and bomb your people and change your government and steal your oil"

I'm from the UK... and I am far from being proud of our involvement in Iraq.

I think America is a great nation BUT it's too busy trying to busy pursuing power and profit to be of benefit to pull together with the rest of the developed nations.

Ok, I'll give you my opinion since you asked. I believe that if the US starts another war against an Islamic nation then this war is gonna escalate even more.

The US is not gonna convince the world that this is another pre-emptive strike or a regime change against a rogue leader... it will be perceived as an attack on Islam.

If you think is gonna solve anything and make the world safer your sadly mistaken. It will without a doubt breed even more terrorist who are prepared to sacrifice themselves to kill me and you.

And, of course our governments our prepared to pay the price after all we the public are just cannon fodder just like their soldiers.

If USA will bomb Iran then hundreds of people would die.

If USA will not bomb Iran then mullas would get their nuclear bombs and

It's because Bush doesn't get laid. All that pent up sexual tension has to be released somehow. In his case, it's aggression.

He should get his cock sucked by an intern like Clinton did.
Might mellow him out.

Clinton was such a pussy cuz he got so much pussy -- you are what you eat, ya know? Put George on an all pussy diet and all these issues will just go away.

No need to create a list. Bush is the only one that has threatened violence and regime change.

Everyone else wants to pursue this via diplomacy, including my own countries Prime Minister Tony Blair. The EU3 has NOT threatened them with violence but they have offered economic incentives for complying.

I see Iran playing out just like Iraq did, we will go in and that out their infrastructure and military targets via air power and cruise missiles. We will then put them under full blockade style sanctions and probably control their airspace with no fly zones.

We will then basically control what comes in and out of the country as far as oil sales and so on. This will last for 5 to 10 years and it will cripple the country just like what we did with Iraq. If there isn't a transfer of power by that time, to a more Western friendly govt. We will then help them along in installing one, probably by force at that point.

I don't think we will see tanks and troops on the ground in Iran on the first stage as there is no need. It's not like we are chasing them out of Kuwait or anything, we just want to stop their progress in the 'evil empire" area.

Really there is no need for us to hit the ground in Iran, that's why we have superior air power. I think about the only way we would see ground combat , is if Iran tried to attack our troops in Iraq.

I fear this is gonna be exactly like the recent Iraqi war.. they can't take over a country by flying over it and bombing it. It's got to be a ground war theres no other way.. and my guess is that the Iranian army is a lot better equiped than Iraqs. But like you said I agree.. this is gonna be a long one.
There'll be no cheering this time when Bush say's he was.. cos the war will only just beginning.

Look I hate Bush as much as anyone here.. However that doesn't stop me from seeing what needs to happen. If it would have been up to me and I was running the war on Terror. Personally I would have bombed the Saud's because everyone knows that where the issue really comes from.

Do I think America should be in the nation building business? Nope I sure as hell don't because we suck ass at it and history has proven that. However as I posted above there are certain countries that do not need to have nukes and Iran is defiantly one of them.

Support for this has nothing to do with supporting Bush and co.. It has to do with keeping a rogue nation from having nukes. North Korea already has them, do we really need another country like that to have them? I think not.

You speak of diplomacy what are you going to do sit and sip tea with them and they tell you to fuck off anyway? Hell even Russia offered to build them a reactor and they would keep control of it, but Iran even turned that down.

Iran isn't interested in diplomacy anymore than Bush is.. In fact I'm betting Iran is looking at how North Korea dealt with Bush and I bet they think they can do the same. Unfortunately for them that won't be the case, as it was too late to do anything about North Korea, but it's not too late to stop Iran..

I'm curious, how in the HELL are we going to pay for THAT war too???

our economy is about to get some higher oil prices fucking as it is already, now add another war cost ontop and it's really looking grim...

I guess the 25% porn tax will help a bit lol

Afraid to say that it wont be happening anytime soon.. US doesn't have the coin or the man power to get bogged down in another war in the Middle East.. No way the Bush crew would risk it.. It's just posturing.

Iraq is no longer a war, its a group of american military turned police officers. We're fully prepared to take the front to Iran. In fact, i wouldn't be even slightly suprised if the move into Iraq wasn't intentionally made to be a precursor to Iran.

Watch for fireworks by spring.

And let me explain why its a good idea. If IRAN goes ahead with its nuclear ambitions, Israel will take care of the problem. And trust me.....you don't want israel dealing with someone.
