Ok, I'll give you my opinion since you asked. I believe that if the US starts another war against an Islamic nation then this war is gonna escalate even more.
The US is not gonna convince the world that this is another pre-emptive strike or a regime change against a rogue leader... it will be perceived as an attack on Islam.
If you think is gonna solve anything and make the world safer your sadly mistaken. It will without a doubt breed even more terrorist who are prepared to sacrifice themselves to kill me and you.
And, of course our governments our prepared to pay the price after all we the public are just cannon fodder just like their soldiers.
