You know those sticky paper mousetraps? The ones that smell vaguely of peanut butter?.... Those work great for catching spiders too. If I lived there I would have those traps in the basement and in between cupboards etc, and any crawling bug or spider would definitely get caught by them.

I hate spiders.

Thankfully the ones up my way are all pretty small and non-poisonous.
