        You know those sticky paper mousetraps? The ones that smell vaguely of peanut butter?.... Those work great for catching spiders too. If I lived there I would have those traps in the basement and in between cupboards etc, and any crawling bug or spider would definitely get caught by them.

        I hate spiders.

        Thankfully the ones up my way are all pretty small and non-poisonous.

            Don't bother... once a mosquito bites and fills up with blood, they seldom live more than 10 minutes longer. If they don't get back to their eggs to distribute the blood, they just die.
