HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

If traffic101 had ANY proof of ownership he would have faxed it already. $2500 cash. No one in their right mind would pass up such an easy bet unless they knew they would lose it because they are lying.

End of story.

I guess I should buy a membership to his site and make sure he hasn't stolen any of my content as well.

Rictor 09-07-2003 11:46 PM

It's an old thread but what happened? Where's the rest of the story?

exocet 09-07-2003 11:52 PM

Yeah, what happened? How did it end?

i think when everyone like myself and everyone else here sees spacedog they will be pissed when they find out theyve been reading an old thread!

DatingGold 09-08-2003 01:55 AM

always keep a local backup

NedFLanders 09-08-2003 01:58 AM

It feels like I just saw 3/4 of a 3 hour movie and by the looks of it I will never get to see the ending.

reynold 09-08-2003 02:03 AM

this is fucked up

jeroman 09-08-2003 02:55 AM

Well I have to agree: BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP.
ANd not only should your host backup stuff for you
so they can retore in case of a crash.

You should alwasy have a backup yourself so if
a bomb destroy your host you just move on....

Oliver Rodela (linkdatabase.com) has been a client of Webair's for over 2 years, last week he was reported for multiple DMCA violations which were reported to him by our legal department. Mr. Rodela did nothing about removing the unlicensed, copyrighted material from his site. We have e-mail correspondence verifying this and showing Webair was well within it's rights to terminate this client. Additionally, Mr. Rodela physically threatened our support staff on multiple occasions after we took his site down due to these copyright violations. Webair's TOS are very clear regarding the pirating of stolen content, and we stand behind our decision to terminate Mr. Rodela's sites. It was our decision based upon his lack of response to remove the illegal content that he was displaying on his site. I regret that a client Webair's for over 2 years has put himself in such a precarious position. I also regret that he has stooped to the level of such slanderous accusations. Rest assured that his allegations are preposterous.

Webair believes that it's services are so good we are willing to offer every webmaster on this board a free months hosting account...NO STRINGS I will personally give anyone on this board a free 30 day trial to see how great our services are, and to prove that this client is completely wrong.

Good, you can close hime down but you can not steal his content, scripts etc. Its like closing a shop and steal the interior. Dont mis understand me, i dont approve the practice of Oliver but you can not destroy / delete his software etc. I would sue you all the way to the bank and im sure you did yourself more damage than good.
Just my :2 cents:

sirrobin 09-08-2003 08:42 AM

bukkake-bath steals all their content from Japanese VCDs. One look in their members section reveals that. so the plaintiif is a thief too.

unless a proper DMCA notice was given, webair shouldnt have pulled the plug

just my :2 cents:

Notice was given, The client was asked to produce licensing agreement for content, never happened. The client was sent a backup of his site and asked to host elsewhere...End of story....
