What's the best way transfer a PowerPoint presentation to a video file?

I have a Power Point presentation that is on a CD. It's basically a slide show, but I need to transfer it to a DVD or VHS tape to play on a television when no computer is present. What's the best way to do that?

You can import the ppt file to Windows Movie Maker and the the result is a wmv.

I've tried this before and so far the result was fine. Good luck. |

I get this error: The file C:\Documents and Settings\Windows XP\Desktop\presentation.ppt is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows Movie Maker. |
