bp.... I've no doubt in my mind that you've got some keen fucking business saavy twisting around up in your skull.... and I'm hopping in my own underwear to actually speak with you on a serious note someday about how we can turn the whole freaking industry on it's ass and walk away with the profits....
.... but that day has still, not yet arrived. |
but i can assure you it will.
Ive been watching you, and have been doing my research. |
Awesome post Amp.
Truly a great read. |
Wow,
I really needed to see a thread of this calibur on this board...that was cool...I think someone needs to change the topic to..."Zen and the Art of AdultWebmastering" or some shit...that was a frigging peach! :thumbsup Thanks fer the insites all..."You have been assimilated".:thumbsup |
As a wise man once told me.
"Dare to be different! Never follow the crowd!" and you'll do good in this biz. I started 4 years ago on free host with 5 bucks to spend and I'm still fucking here..:321GFY |
amazing.... Maybe we really should sell these speaches in "workshop" form.
Seems a lot of webmasters are just as you said. |
Wow, Im so proud of you all. Now that you are all done writing your little essay's, who actually makes any money around here?
Hard work, and business ethics is all good and shit, but if you want to make real money, working smart is more important than working hard. My warez sites make more money in a day than what you people see in a month. Why? Because I pimp the shit. I fuck over my trades, and rape the surfers. You cant discredit the cheaters and swindlers in business. It goes for regular industry as well as adult. Business is based on lies and deceit. Every one of you would fuck over the next guy for buck and you know it! Economic Darwinism is alive and well. Shhh....Just be sure to sell your stock before it plunges, how's your 401k now??? Peace out Yo! |
Son of Rage, you are hilarious! Awesome spoof, dude! You'd make a great poster at www.fuckedcompany.com -- awesome satire, trolls, parodies. I especially dig your boneprone4life pic using the wanna be Eminem kid's pic. CLASSIC!

Your Perspective = Your Reality...I guess.

now now.. Lets not upset Rage before our little mission to Congo.

Warez site operators are truly the dumbest of dumb... they have no idea how to market their shit, so they throw a shitload of porn sites at a guy trying to crack a fucking bootleg copy of PSP7 in the hopes that he'll just forget about the fact that he needs software and sign up for a paysite and jerk his troubles away.

Ok...I guess you're right...Plus I figure I shouldn't begin defiling this thread with mindless drivel since it began as a shining example of what all threads should strive to be.
And oh by the way...BoneProne...I heard that if I blew you I could get my nick changed... |

"You lie. Warez makes shit. Your traffic is poeple dedicated to getting shit for free. Pure & simple. Most warez sites puke 30 uncloseable full screen popups in your face for porn sites, which is Bad Marketing 101 personified. I WANT SOFTWARE!!!! NOT PORN!!!"
WTF? Of course my traffic is people dedicated to getting stuff for free. Who on this earth doesnt want things free? FREE is what builds the traffic. Every retail establishment on the face of this earth offers SALES!!! or Buy on get one FREE!!! These are briliant marketing tatics used to draw the customer in. Ever heard of "Suggestive Selling" I think you must have slept in that day during your Marketing 101 class. Those who want software DO WANT PORN!!! Like any other industry, this tatic works, feeding on their impulsivness. Mix this with the desire of porn... you've got a sale. |
YEAH!:BangBang:
OMG...I can go to bed now... |
Son Of Rage,
So basically, what you are saying is that the warez biz model is somewhat similar to the TGP model. Entice the user in with the lure of free material [in your model's case, cracked software] and then cross sell them on material that has compelling value that appeals to a very common denominator--porn. TGP model is more on point but uses the same approach--entice with free porn, user gets excited about a particular gallery, clicks on sponsor link. If what you say is true then what's preventing webmasters from building sites that focus on high traffic non-adult content categories [e.g. health, finance, politics] and using adult banners and galleries? I've seen a couple of these [the finance version] but if the approach you're saying really converts well, why don't we see these "cross over" sites [OUTSIDE OF THE WAREZ CATEGORY] on a large scale? Just wondering. |

Hoax,
Maybe if a webmaster were to lift content directly from TheEconomist or Salon then there would be legal issues. I was talking more about independently generated non porn content--ie., editorials, non sex stories, etc. |

If you had even a shred of neural activity, you would realize that yes, both those sites do share two things in common: They're both horizontal, and they're both designer sites. Aside from that.... they couldn't be more different. Look at the code. I have nothing to hide. The underlying code is completely different.... which means, for some of you slower *special* people... they are NOT driven the same way.... that in itself makes them different. But I understand that isn't enough for you. So let's look at the graphics.... is there ONE thing similar? I think NOT. And don't argue with me... I know what I can do. So.... now you're going to say, "but it still looks like Mike W"... well get fucking over it. I could very easily say the same fucking thing about every vertically designed site on the Net. "It's vertical! It's the same!" Fuck off. I'm sick & fucking tired of hearing this shit. I've done at least a dozen other horizontal sites just like that in the past, and I expect I will continue to create horizontal sites when the fucking urge strikes me. If someone has a patent on that, please step forward or shut the fuck up. I'm going to finish that case of beer I started now.... but I will be back with yet more actual REALITY in just a moment. |
my life has been all about following my desires and trying to push myself in any vocation that i feel warrants my attention at any given time
ambition, creativity, business sense, skills and the desire to succeed is all that is necessary to excel at any job i wanted to become a magician when i was 15 and by the time i was 18 i was getting work all the time and performing before audiences of 3000 people i wanted to write and perform music when i was 12 and by the time i was in my 20's i had my material on the radio and 100's of songs written that i will eventually either sell or cut myself i wanted to make a career in contemporay art when i was 24 and after 5 years of school and numerous awards and scholarships, i was noted as one of the hottest environmental artists i wanted to know more about how contemporary art galleries ran ( so i wouldn't get ripped off by art dealers ) and by the age of 33 i was assistant director at one of the top galleries in Canada i wanted to learn more about smart card technology and by the time i turned 34 - what should have been my early retirement, made me lose everything (but this was one of the few times when i was not in control of the situation) i wanted to make use of the computers and equipment that i got in the settlement from the above company to make money and teach myself all about the adult industry and how to survive in this business almost 6 years later and i'm still here, making more money than i ever have before in my life, working for myself and although often complaining about a bad day or week, not really wanting to change a thing about my business thanks for the great topic Amp - it makes me happy to be working with you in this biz :thumbsup |
