I think the better answer would be, that you will see MANY more european countries getting back into the war on terrorism and Al-Qaeda. While many people love the pope, there are many more from Europe that beieve much more in him, imho. Look at the turn out during Pope John Paul's mass.

I do believe it will be a holy war, and I do believe things will be escalated, but I also think it will be the end of Al-Qaeda, sort of all vs 1.

Very few people in the US are aware of most of the attacks that have happened on US soil - from the poisoning in Oregon as followers of the Bagwhan Rajneesh did to influence a local election to the Attacks on power grids and attempts to disrupt electrical power to large population areas such as Fuqra did in Colorado or the Dispersal of toxic chemicals through internal building ventilation systems such as white supremacists attempted in Arizona.

I have no doubt about that in my mind at all. I am sure there are much bigger terrorist groups out there. I "assumed" they were talking about Al-Qaeda and well I would say the biggest threat of an attack on the vatican by a terrorist organization would be Al-Qaeda or a group that has close ties to Al-Qaeda.

I would be interested to learn more about these if you have a list I can do some googling. I am definitely not the foremost expert on terrorism, but would love to learn more about these other groups just for my own knowledge.

The thing is that you labelled NatAll a terrorist organization based on their literature. Fictional literature, at that, as it turns out. You can have any opinion that you want, but when you publicly accuse someone of breaking a law (the label of terrorist is an umbrella term for a range of acts - all illegal), without proof, and with malice or foreseeable malignal effects for the accusee, you have stepped over the outer perimeter defining free speech because then you are endulging in libel.

First off - I never called them a terrorist organization - I intended to show how an organization can breed terrorism but was cut short. The reason I picked them is that there is a lot of info out there to show how their ideology was adopted by someone (and evidently this person or people believed that Turner was calling out to perform the tasks he documented in his novel - fictional or no) and turned into a real terrorist act. Repetitive Monkey - I also should apologize for linking the two together as I know that the media spends a lot of time trying to "blame" someone for events and that usually a group that some consider "fringe" usually gets the blame. I have spent some time actually reading the natvan/all groups thoughts and policies in the past and often wondered why so many people jump to conclusions about their purpose and ideology without a basis. Although I don't agree with their "thought process" or the path they want to take to achieve their vision of the world, it doesn't mean that I reject them as a viable group. Maybe that's what these extremists want. To get the whole world in an uproar and bring the shit storm crashing down on their heads, because that would be the end result.

The muslims really need to clean their kitchen. I do not think all Arabs, Muslims, or any other class, or religous sect is all evil. But if they do not want all of the grief they are getting now, and in the future, it would be in their best interests to help clean or weed out some of the extremists.
