I think most recipes are more than just a listing of ingredients. And how would the cooking instructions be any different from say a book?

However, generic food like hamburgers or gyros usually don't require a page long descriptive story on how to prepare it. I'd think it's hard to put a copyright on something like a generic hamburger recipe.

I think only of the name of the dish is trademarked or the recipes appeared in published print (like a Julia Childs book).

not yet. I'm still getting it done. But I'd love to link up if you'd like once my site is up.

I'm a recipe fiend. I love to cook, and if there's one I don't have, I'm all about it.
