Big difference.. No one "took" any info from Brad's server. He didn't steal or download content, etc.. All he did was point to a public URL.

On the net any url that is not password protected is public. What if Google happen to spider his unsecure pages, would he sue google too.

To use your example earlier with with people checking door nobs for unlocked doors. What Fris did was post the address of someone's house that had a door unlocked. Saying, 123 Park St. has an unlocked door is not a crime. But thats even a bad example since the house is on private property and unsecured url has no expectation of privacy.

if you spent half the time making sure your employee's were doing a half assed decent job, none of this shit would of happened in the first place.
