Damn, I wonder when that will get to the Philippines I am on T1 right now. Separate provider per office. We have 2 offices. Total bandwidth expense every month: $2000.

That's what I said when signing the contract. Blame it on expensive trunk lines... PLDT (the main phone co. here) sucks very hard.

My father in California has about the same speed on DSL and he only pays $39.95 a month. Infrastructure is very expensive in the Philippines.

BellSouth better wake up as they are losing customers to cable real fast. Especially to Comcast and Adelphia. On the other side, I thought BellSouth technical support sucked, well that was before I had to deal with Adelphia, when I ended up giving a tech class to the support guy and his supervisor

20 Mbps DSL is about $40/month here, and it includes some digital television benefits.
