I just got to the office and saw this thread...

In Cybercat's defense it's really not their fault, we have buyers that decide to switch banners mid-campaign (and usually without telling us) by just overwriting the banner on their server. In the future with 2257 laws coming down on our heads we might require to host the customer's banner in the future, that way situations like this would'nt happen.

Sleazydream is a good friend of mine and I know 100% WITHOUT A DOUBT he does not support beastiality and neither does Cybercat. I wish people would sometimes keep stuff like this off the boards and just send us an ICQ/e-mail in a situation like this instead of insinuating that we are dog molestors or something ;)

so, why wouldn't you guys and them be hosting the banners in the first place? I know I wouldn't trust remote hosted banners....too many games being played in these days of traffic being worth less than it used to be...I realize it's a cost saver because you won't be using as much bandwidth than with them hosting their own, but seems it would cut down on fraud (no matter how small).

Give me a break...Sleazy had no idea the banner was running. When notified of it, he reacted. Wtf else would you like him to do?

All those CyberCat clients, SD, Patrick, etc, are all on automatic pilot for the most part. They don't bust out a microscope and click "refresh" on their own home page 500 times to make sure some asshat advertiser hasn't overwritten previously submitted ad work each day.

The Last-Modified shows the date when the file was last modified on the server.

If you upload a file then it will show the date you uploaded it.

=> Banner File on the Server was not changed after 23 May. SleazyDream knew what was going on.
