				 | Just a thought, and xxxjay I'm not bashing the messenger here. I appreciate all the informative information of everones lawyers views on everything that's going on right now. Right now everybody is trying to figure all this shit out and each lawyer has a differnet view on some of the new regulations. I also want to encourage everybody to join the FSC, they're fighting a good cause and if you're not a member you should be! But now my thoughts on an injunction, as many have said once it is in place and even if it is only for members of the FSC it's likely the feds won't do anything to anyone. If they do, what keeps the person being targeted from joining the FSC after the fact. It's not like they're going to stop taking memberships. Even once the injunction is in place, the FSC is going to continue to need donations and memberships to keep up the fight until things are resolved and than there'll be new challenges to fight. Also, wanted to get peoples thoughts on getting surfers and site members involved in this fight. Should we encourage them to donate to the FSC since ultimately this affects them too. |

yes, that someone was me.. FightThe Patent... i recall you posting in very large caps in my thread titled: 2257 - Only FSC Members covered by injunction http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...&page=1&pp=50: "I'm am calling a massive BULLSHIT ON THIS THREAD -- STOP READING IT NOW. Don't you find it funny that the guy who started this is selling a 2257 solution in his sig? An injunction is an injunction...don't waste you time with this thread!" You retracting your "bullshit" statement to "someone" ? ibanker as well? Fight the Saving Face!

This is scare tactics to drum up more donations. Sure, the more donations the better, but treat your members with some level of respect.

You think that CURRENT members of FSC feel disrepected because the FSC has the position that only it's members would be covered by an injunction? I would think that FSC members would approve of such statements because they are the ones putting money in to fund all of these activites, and probably are a little pissed all those that would get free rides. FSC hasn't used this issue as a marketing vehicle to get new members, they have always been looking for members and donations for the 2257 issue. if anything, the injunction issue should just be the "icing on the cake" that gets people to finally join. I have heard from many, including my attorney that an "injunction is an injunction", but what if FSC is completely correct? $300 a year for the level that most webmasters would be at is not that high of an expense, for so many that don't even retain an attorney. Fight the members only!

				 | I'm not going to argue with you on this one Brandon, the more resources they have to fight this the better. As a non US citizen, I've made my donation.
